My friend is asking if she can give my address to his bank

Hello everyone,
My friend is asking if she can give my address to his bank as there address is not on royal mail postal list and they are not getting the post. I just wanted to know if that can cause any problem for me.
Her husband has some identity theft problem and has some other people's arrears on his credit record, but only she is giving my address in her bank not her husband.
Please tell me if anything can go wrong
Thanks
Tell your friend to call royal mail they can ring them on 08456 011 110 option 3 option 1 and ask them to activate the postcode for the address
Ive had to do this recently as my address did not up on the royal mail website (new build property). It took 48 hours for it to update.
When I did mine they didnt ask me to contact them via my local councilIm an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -

I doubt a professional letting agent would let this out as they would check ownership of the property etc. I smell a rat here. Maybe a troll ?.
There is no such thing as a professional letting agent.
There are letting agents which join a national body and agree to abide by their regulations, but there are letting agents who collude with landlords to let out illegal divided or built properties.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

That's because your property has planning permission.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

She needs to email addressmaintenance@royalmail.com with the address in question, and ask for it to be added to the Postcode Address File.
Utter non sense !! Don't know how and from where you came up with that one !!0 -
Ask the bank to have all correspondance delivered to their bank or get them to use paper free, probably the first suggestion as i am sure with paper free there will still be one or two letter that will go to home address. I know with HBOS if you share a letterbox with someone else you can opt to have statements delivered to local branch.0

wont the bank allow her to collect mail from there or could she get a PO Box address in the same way as someone living on a touring boat might0

just out of curiosity, is it statements that they are concerned about not receiving?? if so then why doesnt she just arrange for online billing/statements, as all banks seem to be trying to push people into that direction anyway, at least as a temporay measure??
or has she asked any of the banks if they can have her home address on the system and send mail to a PO box number?? that she can collect her mail from (not sure if thats possible, but its worth asking)MFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..0 -
