If she uses your address for credit etc and then gets into difficulties paying it, it could mean debt collectors being sent to your house and you having to prove to them and/or bailiffs that she does not live there and that the entire contents of the house are yours.

It is like the owner built a new home instead of garage without planing permission and bank did change the address to something what estate agent told them their address is which like "Rear off" but postman throws the post in one of the addresses on the front and that tenant denied to give them their post. The estate agent is not helping them either.

In that case you need to contact the Police. This is a serious and criminal offence under the Postal something Act, which the authorities dont take lightly. You cannot just hold up someone elses mail and you cannot open it either even if it comes through your own letter box, you really should look at the name on it.

That's because it's not the estate agents problem either though I'm not sure they could rent a place without planning permission granted, in essence living in a place that has been built without planning is very bad news indeed for your friends.

It is still not your problem though.

It probably will affect you. Credit file agencies link everyone listed at one household together, so if in the future she messes up (misses a credit card payment, goes overdrawn without authorisation etc) it'll hit your credit.

She needs to email addressmaintenance@royalmail.com with the address in question, and ask for it to be added to the Postcode Address File.

If your going to give advice on here at least give the right information.
If you cant its best you shut up
For everthing else there's mastercard.
For clampers there's Barclaycard.

So they are living in a place but illegally? It's no effing wonder they can't find the address, because to all intents and purposes it does not exist. I can't believe you were so stupid as to leave this out in your OP.

I doubt a professional letting agent would let this out as they would check ownership of the property etc. I smell a rat here. Maybe a troll ?.
