Looks like the thanks counters are back.. not the button though.
I agree with previous posters - i liked having no thanks counters and agree that a thanks button is a good thing to keep the thread length to a minimum, but a tally/record of how many times you've been thanked is pretty pointless.Lost lbs =

I'm still having trouble getting my jackpot points from the 9th April.
I had a reply from Rachel at pigsback yesterday saying that they wait a week before checking it's chart position and the song had been entered a week early without them knowing. If that doesn't make sense then thats because her email didn't make sense! The Jackpot said to predict where U2 would enter the UK chart, not what it's position would be a week later, also the Jackpot closed on 8/04 so why are pigsback going off the chart on 16/04! I've sent yet another email and am again waiting for a reply. :wall:
I love pigsback and have had a few vouchers from them, but this has really taken the shine off it. :sad:Desperately seeking [STRIKE]Mr. Squiggles,[/STRIKE] car and garage, [STRIKE]surf board, ball, funhouse,[/STRIKE] wheel, slide and pet carrier :rotfl::santa2::think: :snow_laug0 -

But why don't people delete their posts when a duplicate is pointed out to them? Are they simply trying to boost their number of posts? Ditto for when they post something, then, instead of deleting it, they edit the post and leave wonderfully enlightening phrases like, "Sorry, problem solved" or "Doesn't matter".
I honestly didn't know that I could delete posts completely on this board until you just said, and I've been a member for almost 3 months.
A lot of boards I belong to don't let you delete completely, just edit, that's where my confusion came from anyway.0 -

The question was what sort of position will it enter the charts and you were correct.
If you entered before the 9th of April chart results, you won. No argument.
The only thing I can think that they're saying is that you entered after the 9th of April charts came out, they didn't know it had already entered and the option to bet on the following Sunday (16th) shouldn't have been there. (which i'm guessing is the case).
As you bet on that option in all good faith and it was a mistake on their part (they've admitted that in the e-mail by saying it had entered without them knowing) it'd be nice to think that they would still pay out as a goodwill gesture, tho' it's more likely that they'll just consider it an invalid bet0 -

(Maybe that should be 'Only those who post links without duplicating'.)

Do you mean they don't give you the full percentage as they take some for their services?
Quido only take £5 a year for their charges.. whereas freefivers etc take a percentage/sum of money off the total amount given.. ie giving you a lower percentage/amount shown on the offer.
For instance, we have signed up to sky through quidco.. got £50 for it, whereas freefivers offer £26.50 for the same thing.. quidco take £5 for the whole year.
If you didn't mean that then oops, at least someone who may not know this may have found something out lol.Lost lbs =
