Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
It has been raised yet again about splitting the thread, Which i'm against but i may have a solution for the people who just want quizzes and answers

When the new thread starts (which shouldn't be to far away judging on the lenghth of this one) and cuppatea posts the initial information, if our regular daily quiz posters and crossword posters attempt to procure a post on the first page also, they then can update it daily with the quizes and crossword links by using the edit function, extra work for them having to duplicate their nightly postings but a copy and paste would do it taking less than a minute.

if it is updated regular it would be a great help to the impatient amongst us and eliminate the need to trawl through 60 odd posts to find the information if you are in a hurry,

Only a suggestion! let me know what you think about it (not my punctuation and spelling though I already know it's useless)

    :-)

You really can't grasp the point. This chap Darragh is the ONLY person here who is paid to be here.

He is the ONLY person here representing a company not himself. Try seeing him in that context and not just as another poster.

Bearing in mind his company is on the receiving end of so many regular complaints in so many of these pages and pages of threads, yes, I really do object to such a company (NOT an individual) coming on here and lecturing us all.

I would take exactly the same approach if we had a Quidco thread with a resident Quidco PR rep, a Barclaycard thread with a Barclaycard rep, HSBC, and so on...

This will only be a short one, but i do grasp what you're trying to say.. i am not thick, i just do not agree with it and think some of the things you are saying are unfounded.

You do not need to reply to this on here again, or indeed at all as i believe people are probably getting quite bored of this now lol.. myself included as i know this is never going to be something we're going to completely agree on. :)

It's not "unpleasantness" - it's hopefully a rational discussion about a company and its paid PR agent. I refer you to Broken hearted's comments about companies, which say it all on the topic.

I agree, no unpleasantness here.. i've nothing against Ms Bucket (if that's your real name lol).

Let's now all think of fluffy little lambs (or something equally as cute and pleasant) bouncing around a field instead shall we.. :p

ickle suggestion... can we have 2 pigsback threads please mse? one simply for answers, clickthroughs, comps etc and the other a free-for-all?

i have just had to trawl through dozens of pages of bickering, questions for darragh, bickering, piggy eurovision entries, more bickering and oh yes yet more bickering to find 4 or 5 useful up-to-date links to pigsback ;)

    .......

It has been tried many times, but the majority want to keep pigsback threads as just one thread to check.

Could you not use the search thread facility to highlight all the threads with links in.. just search for www. on it? I haven't tried this btw but on other boards, it would bring up all the posts in the thread with a link in.. which should bring your search time down quite considerably. :)

    Just a thought.
