  • Yes. Their prices are crazy. Here is a similar set for one tenth of the price. Better quality and a Lifetime Warranty. Check out Just Smart Living dot com.

    10/10 for effort, 0/10 for understanding the MSE rules. Reported.

    Edit: already reported.
    We could all learn a little something from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

    Not only do we have the crazy Salads googling for forum postings, we also have the crazy scamsters feeding on the back of the Saladmaster trough!

    No cooking pot is worth that money. You will probably find that the actual cost of this cookware is much lower. The rest of the price is made up of the commission paid to the salesman. I did find a job advert for Saladmaster which said that "up to £1,500" could be earned on just one sale.

    So... I am an "unintelligent", "uneducated" American, who probably never heard Georgia is a country, or maybe couldn't find or even name an African country if asked (probably think Africa is a country), [wink;] ... so be forewarned.
    Just a little update on the nature of the American corporate engine. I've looked into the SM business "opportunity". In the above quote, pay special attention to the words "could be". The truth is far from that $ amount. Sales reps are not rich. Often, far from.

    Typically the sales rep starts at 5%, while actually working close to full time to try to estrange all his/her friends/family by asking quite nicely to do a few shows. The incentive is the promise of easily and ethically-earned wealth. The paycheck barely covers gas and groceries, until the rep quits or becomes a convert to the complete sales mantra :0) Yes, some make a great deal of money....one made $60,000 in less than 8 months. Is this typical? No way.

    At last! the Saladmaster spokesperson has turned up. Please note, we don't need your over-priced pans which come with very dubious health claims.

    What is it with Americans and and this sort of stuff? If it's not Saladmaster it's Kirby vacuum cleaners, Craftmatic beds or that MLM company that sells overpriced cleaning products.
    What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

    How long before we read phrases like 'Glycaemic Index' on this thread?

    Or if you use non-stick pans you'll be dead within the week.

    Surely one of the biggest [after Sc-Amway] has to be David Beckham's paymasters - Herbalife.

    It says something about the US when a major 'soccer' team has scammers as their shirt sponsor.

    Next up: Arsenal - sponsored by Ponzi, Man Utd - sponsored by Vitalife, and Chelsea - sponsored by the late widow of General Adgiufjdfhljsl
  • Forget infomercials....Ive just come back from the states, and the next big con-trick is....TRANS-FATS!!!

    It doesn't matter how much saturated fat and refined sugar your candy bar or burger is dripping in: if it is low in trans-fat its 'officially' good for you!
    Profit=sanity
    Turnover=vanity
    Greed=inhumanity:dance:

    Why bother. It's overpriced rubbish that's sold with very dubious health claims. Simple as that!
