My dress last year came from Landy and was under £100!
Ooo thank youSee this thread CAN be MSE lol! :T:T:T
I thought a wedding dress would be about £1,000 before looking into it!Married 5th June 20101st Baby born 12th April 2011:j0 -

salesadmin - that dress is gorgeous. I can't believe how inexpensive it is (don't want to say cheap, because it certainly doesn't look cheap!). There's some lovely cards on your blog, I love the images. And I now have a Xyron Sticker Maker in a shopping basket... I'm waiting to see if some lovely elves will buy it for me.
I have elves in my house at the minute! They even follow me to places like Ikea and steal my purse and pay for things when I'm not looking!!:rotfl:
On another note: I've just found out that it is free to list on ebay at the moment. I think I might list some of my cards at £1 each...can't hurt as it won't cost me anything if they don't sell and if they do I have more room for stash! :T

We haven't actually set a date yet, but it will be May or June 2011 depending on when our church is available. Hopefully will see the vicar next weekWe are doing it on a Friday to save money and most people that we will invite to the daytime do work for themselves (I'm from a family of self employed people!) or are retired!
We were going to wait until I finished uni but figured what's the point? We've been together 5 years and oh is getting broody!
Congrats on your wedding. I thought about a winter wedding (think it would be romantic!) but I want my bridesmaids to wear short dresses and thought it might be a bit cruel!Married 5th June 20101st Baby born 12th April 2011:j0 -
Nothing wrong with bridesmaids in thick wooly tights and thermals :rotfl:.
We got married in August and my bridesmaids still reckoned they were freezingOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

I wish you could guarantee the weather! Especially as we will be walking to our reception as it's just 5 mins down the road...long enough to get soaked though - I might have a car on stand by for me

Hello Gemma & Padster Can you advise me please.
As recommended on here I got the flourish dies but I'm a bit confused -
I got the metal plate, a piece of foam & a piece of card with shiny plastic stuck to it. Now, I don't think the card & shiny plastic are relevant, but.... should the foamy bit be stuck on the metal die or used somewhere? There were no instructions & I've cut one set of flourishes but they stuck in the metal plate - I got them out ok but is that happening with yours - please?0 -

I stuck the foamy bit (think it's technically called ejection foam) on the die but it didn't cut all that well - will have a go tomorrow without and see how I get on - my bug is a bit temparamental.Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended
