I am so excited, I took a trip to hobbycraft after work and bought my very first promarkers, 3 sets of the half price ones, I just couldn't resist an offer like that as I've been wanting some for ages but was feeling very stingy before I came accross this offer! so I got the skin tones, the pastels and the brights :j also a few packs of shiny bubble stickers that caught my eye!

Then when I got home there was a parcel waiting for me from Cross stitcher! a few weeks ago I emailed them a photo of the recent piece I did for my auntie, and then forgot about it until today, they've sent me a stash of goodies along with a note to say they are going to print my work :j

Things are definitely looking up people :D

Gemm that's fantastic news!!! I get Cross Sticher and can;t wait to see your work in the magazine. What did they send you, sorry I am so nosy

I didn't know Hobbycraft had promarkers half price... ;)

salesadmin, what a beautiful dress, so stunning :D:D:D

Hels, huge good luck for the interview, remember to ask them questions as you need to work out if you like the job and the company as well as the interviewer liking you ;)

Furrypig, hope you are ok missus, we are missing you x

Polly, such a beautiful card on your blog, I really love it, the colours are gorgeous :T

NEC, I have got my ticket for the NEC already. Link to Tesco deal here. The Tesco ticket allows you access for any of the days so hopefully we can co-ordinate when we go so can meet up. I think the last show was in February and I met Melissa, PLM, Choccy, Sylph and Furrypig. I for one had a great day and came home with several bargains.

Thanks for missing me Rainmac and Skiergirl!

I have been camping at the coast, holidaying in Sussex and today we are off again! So I have not made a card for ages or done any other crafting.

Also pulled out of all the swops etc on craftyplace as just too busy at them moment!! I am really enjoying doing stuff with the kids so not stressful!

I have read the last 10+ pages v fast so can't recall all the individual comments and cards etc etc but as usual there are some great ideas and creations. Reading PLM's christmas blog is getting me all festive again and I must get back on to Martha's site, I used a few of her ideas last year for Halloween. I agree she is amazing.

I enjoyed the NEC last year and it was great to meet up with my 'virtual' friends. I used Tesco clubcard points in March though haven't bought my ticket yet for November yet. For me coming from 'down South' the train fare is the major thing and i am hopeing to find a cheap ticket otherwise will be way too expensive! Did it last year for about £30+ so need to get it for a similar amount.

Well done to all the winners of comps/blog candy/magazine cards etc etc you really are a talented bunch! Hoping some will rub off on me!!

My Hobbycraft had some reduced snowglobes for photos similat idea to PLM's beautiful bauble so might be worth checking it out.

Ok must go and pack again (takes ages to pack and unpack every few days!! Not to mention doin the washing!!)
Anyone around to feed the cat and rabbits???!!!
