I wish you could guarantee the weather! Especially as we will be walking to our reception as it's just 5 mins down the road...long enough to get soaked though - I might have a car on stand by for me :)

(Sorry folks I've taken the thread off topic!!) :A

I was going to walk but OH insisted we had a car - so glad we did as it had tipped down with rain in the morning and was still drizzling on the way there - stopped as I got out the car though.
It's not OT great excuse for cards and craft stuff :A
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

    Thank you - Padster.

O/T - I got married in December, it was a lovely day weatherwise but at the night we went away in a car without a heater and it was flippin' FREEZING! This was over 30 years ago in case you are wondering how a car could have no heater!

I am still in the middle of doing a card for in laws ruby wedding which is tomorrow or should that be today now:eek: it would have been done sooner but it's hard with ds being on summer hols and i have spent the best part of the evening in A&E with hubby.

I am loving all the cards ladies. Mil got the x-cutter the other day quite cheap i must find out where and how much she actually paid. My mum bought me my guillotine and it is rubbish.

Oh Louby! What's poor hubby been doing to go to A & E? Hope he's OK? Daft question you don't go to A & E if you're OK - rephrase that - hope it wasn't too serious & he'll soon be OK.

Craftgranny - Lovely stamping & colouring especially the sparkling pinny.

I've been fighting with my card for the craftyplace Christmas challenge. I started it last Sunday with an idea I've had since last Christmas! and after I gave myself a blinding headache tonight I've given it up as a bad job. Now doing one less stressful & less crafty. Such is life.....

Salesadmin - bit OT but stil MS I guess - I just remembered that I had a party frock made in CHina from a company I randomly landed on via google! I was a bit worried but it was perfect, made to measure and absolutely beautiful for under £100. (didn't even need to wear a bra - and believe me I need a bra!). Just to reassure you that the deal probably isn't too good to be true!

Marg - I have the same problem sometimes when I've got a specific idea. Also I can sit looking at a pile of beautiful items and just can't work out what to do with them sometimes!

Louby - hope it was nothing too serious at A and E.

CGC - have a great time. Peter Pan looks lovely - glad you enjoyed it.
