I ordered 2 sets of nesties today too - we're sooo bad on here!

Skiergirl - I used tesco vouchers for tickers to the NEC - no idea what day I'm going though. I think it was only a couple of quids worth so I figured no biggie even if I ended up not going.

Is anyone thinking of going to the NEC show in dec - was the last one worth going to ?. I'm wondering whether to use some tesco vouchers to get a ticket.

I went last year as it is so near, But we only went because we got 4 free tickets. I saw one of the stall holders at a tiny local event, i don't know quite what we said to get them but he gave me the tickets i was really chuffed. Parking is very steep £8 and there is no where else to park other than the nec so they have got you. Unless you get the bus or taxi in from some where else.
It was a fun day but with so many stalls you can get carried away buying everything. I thought i got a really good deal on some bulk lot of double sided tape but mother in law came back after we spilt up for a bit and she got it cheaper so look around first before you buy. I met all the create and craft crew and sara from crafters companion it was funny people were takin pics and asking for the autograph. All the women were going mad for Nigel May but he is so gay :rotfl:

Just one more thing....Can my stitching card be a cross stitch card or should it be a papercraft card?

It can be whichever you like as long as it shows some form of stitches or imitation stitches! :)

I am so excited, I took a trip to hobbycraft after work and bought my very first promarkers, 3 sets of the half price ones, I just couldn't resist an offer like that as I've been wanting some for ages but was feeling very stingy before I came accross this offer! so I got the skin tones, the pastels and the brights :j also a few packs of shiny bubble stickers that caught my eye!

Then when I got home there was a parcel waiting for me from Cross stitcher! a few weeks ago I emailed them a photo of the recent piece I did for my auntie, and then forgot about it until today, they've sent me a stash of goodies along with a note to say they are going to print my work :j

Things are definitely looking up people :D

The piece I sent to cross stitcher is on my blog here ;)

I paid £4.49 per pack of promarkers, there are 5 in a pack, I thought that was a great price as they are usually nearer £8 a pack! :)

As I couldn't get 'into' anything today I went to Hobbycraft;) Not sure if anyone is interested but they have half price packs of Promarkers. They had skin tones, pastels, brights and greys packs of 5 for £4.49. They were with the back to school art materials display. Hope it helps someone :D:D

I thought it was November . Rainmac has her ticket already.

I'm going to Harrogate in a couple of weeks time - not sure which day yet hopefully Saturday

It probably is November - its just me being ditzy :rotfl:

£8 to park , if I wasn't away, Harrogate would be tempting :D
