morning all and happy Saturday! :j so many gorgeous cards from everyone, a huge collective Well Done from me! :T
I decided to go for the fringe in the end, but after not having one at all for 14 years it feels like I am wearing a hat :rotfl: it's going to take some getting used to and I have to keep resisting the temptation to put on a headband to get it off my forehead :rotfl:
I have a few orders to get on with today so after a quick visit to my local craft shop I will be getting cracking!0 -
WOW Gemm how brave of you to go for the fringe after 14 years, would love to see a new piccie of you. My GD has just had a fringe cut and it has changed the shape of her face totally, she is only 6 but now looks much more grown up. The thing with hair is if you dont like the cut it soon grows again lol.
Carmin Fab Wedding Card. I love the shape of the card, its so different
Just finnished putting my next challenges card on my blog. I must be on a roll with challenges at the moment, sometimes its so much easier when you are told what to make!! lol0 -
Thanks so much, that's a lovely card. Is it just held together with the split rings then or have you "stuck" the sides in any way?
mine was made of a heavy mountboard so could take the rings without any problem, if you are using a lighter card you might need to put large eyelets in to run the rings through. I didnt use any "sticky stuff" at all. if you are using light card eyelets with ribbon through would work just as well. x0 -
carmim - lovely card!
Ordered a stamp from Crafts u Love - well you have to take advantage of the free postage!! I was quite restrained though as was going to order another one as well - but will hang on instead. (craftygranny - you are a bad influence - lol!)
the wife - have signed up over at craftyplace for the card swap - put some cards on my blog this morning - now thinking I should have held one back lol.
rainmac - thank you!!
Gemma - bet your hair is lovely - do you think it makes you look younger??0 -

Just back from the shop with my new Printer :T but the poor thing is still sitting in its box. OH and I are going out soon so I'll need to wait and play when we get back. I've got an anniversary card to make for Mum + Dad. I've left comments on some of your blogs (all nice ones) and when I can back in I'm gonna check out some challenge sites for some ideas.0
