  • Hi all,

Thanks for the comments - quick update is that they didn't do my Gran's op as someone else higher priority came up and now the doctors on holiday for two weeks! My aunt kicked up a fuss and we got her transferred to private today so she'll have her op next Tuesday instead.

Also, one of my colleagues at work has given me this (a metal Jelly Belly dispenser he got from eBay for £15):

He's asked if I fancy the challenge of blinging it out as a gift for his female friend in her mid forties. He wants a Union Jack incorporated and it needs to be long wearing so nothing thats going to rip or peel off.... HELP!!!! Lol I think I may just cover the whole thing in a union jack made of small gems but any other ideas welcomed.

  • First off sorry off topic (been back reading) Mel i have a bumbo seat. of course harry doesn't need it yet but i saw one in boots for £7 and know how much they are i couldn't resist the bargain, so keep a look out. My niece had one and they found it very useful.

Who ever needed the pocket cards (sorry i was skim reading) if you do want any getting from PDA i could get some i don't know when you needed them but it wouldn't be untill the feb half term. Not sure if it would work out any cheaper for me to send them rather than the company. The warehouse used to be a stones throw away from our old house but it was before i was into card making.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)

Rusty - sounds like you are an ebay expert - making so much profit on things! I keep meaning to list a load of things on there but I think I'll wait until they have one of their "free insertion fees" day. Hope you get your laptop back soon!

Sally - your sympathy card is really pretty.

Lyndach - I'd forgotten how much space a baby takes up! He has taken over the lounge with his moses basket, toys and walker!

Mary - glad to hear that your OH is feeling better.

Paddingtondoo - those digital images are really cute!

Sunrise - really pretty easter cards - love the idea of the matching box.

Dawnteabag - your shadow boxes and clocks are gorgeous - I bet the recipients loved them!

PepPop - lovely cards - your flower one is really classy, and your "me to you" card is fab - I can't believe its your first!

Louby-Lou-Lou - thanks for the bumbo info!!!!

Lei - sorry to hear about your Gran's op - what a pain. Sorry I don''t have any ideas for your blinging task!!!

Hello all :j Super cards on your blogs -you clever lot.
Not done much today as girl came to clean -sent her home early though as she hurt her write.........least the downstairs is all done.........upstairs I'm not too worried about. Prefer to know she's ok.
Had free wallpaper sample A4 size arrive -got it off the Freebie board..........feel sure I ordered more than one - still, one better than none and its quite pretty - would make nice cards.

flourgirl - good news about your Dad -hope all goes well over the weekend

lei - what a mess up with your gran...........still, least she's getting sorted now. Hope all goes well for her
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
