To post a linky to your blog:

Have your blog open in a window so that you can copy the URL.

Type your message on this site, choose a word, e.g. my blog or linky, etc., and highlight it. Then go to the top of the message box on here, you will see a white smiley face, underneth it is a blue circle (atlas map thingy) with a chain link on it, if you hover over it it says "insert link". OK, so click on the blue circle thing and a window pops up which says "Enter the URL of your link" and it will have http:// highlighted in blue. Delete this. Copy and paste your URL then click OK. That is your link.

E.G. Link to Lou's blog. That should take you to your blog.

Hope you can understand that.

right now my "stupid question" I have my blog open and need to see my URL ???? I cant see it on my home page unless I am being really dim should I be looking elswhere ( the folks on here did not know what they were doing when they said they would talk me through all this):o:o:o

There's no stupid questions, we all have to learn things as we go along, someone told me how to do the linky thing!

OK, your URL to your blog. Have your blog open. At the very top of the page there is a blue band which says "OAP's blog - Windows Internet Explorer" or whatever your blog is called. Underneath are two circles with arrows - to go back and forwards to other pages you might have been on. To the right of these circles is the "B" Blogger icon in orange/white then http://oapsblog.blogspot.com or whatever your URL is for your blog.

It's the long rectangular box at the top where you would type in the address of any website you want to go to.

That's what mine is like, I use XP Home edition. Not sure what it's like in Vista or Windows7 or anything else. I hope you can see yours.

I think it means that the URL is the box where you type to go somewhere

Looking at mine now i have a little pic of martyin then it says http : / / forums . moneysaving expert / show thread . ( then lots of letters and numbers

Im using Vista if that helps

go to the front page where you can see your cards and right at the top it should say http/.....and the name of your blog like this

oap this is your url for your blog http://antoniasattic-antonia.blogspot.com/ it is in a box right at the very top of the screen. The same for other url's they are right at the top.
