Angel crafts have some october afternoon bits reduced at the minute, and papermaze sell loads of their stuff - I think they still have a 20% off everything promotion on.

Rusty here's a link to the brads and eyelets glittermum got from mad about cards . Postage can be a bit steep but plenty of bargains in the sale and the pound shop to make it worth while. The eyelets and snaps are 36 packs for 7.49 at the moment . I got some a while ago and the colours and everything are fab.
Melissa glad brandon and your o/h got home safely.
My o/h drove carly to bradford in the snow this morning as they still wanted to do her op. She had it done at 2 pm they finished about 6.30 and both implants are working fine although they won't be switched on for about 4 or 5 weeks to give her ears chance to heal.
It snowed from 6.30 am until after 5pm here today.

Hope to actually DO some crafting tomorrow rather than reading about it and tidying workspace. Got a sketch to follow! All decs down now(DH discovered something we'd missed just on midnight:eek: hope we'll be ok) Can you tell I'm very superstitious?

Mary - there's only a few shops that I've come across that sell october afternoon bits. They do paper pads too, they're 8x8 in size and are a little bit dearer than the basic grey ones.

Im off to look at all these links and invest in some 6x6 papers. I did put my shopping elves into the cupboard but the appeared out of there the other day to but ribbon dont think i put the chain on the door tight enough :rotfl:

Had a text at 7:45 this morning .... DS's school is closed (the school send us texts how good is that!) so just DD to get to nursery and then I need to drag DS shopping!! first time I have used my car since before christmas!! OH wants me to drive to his mates garage and ask for 2 new front tyres just so I have some better grip ... he does worry bless him!

Rusty our school sends texts too had one earlier saying school closed today. Need to dig the car out to try and get carly home today. Glad it's my oh that drives and not me . lol . If you're sure you'll use them buy them if not wait until mine come and i'll stamp you some if i have the right ones lol.

Thankyou craftygranny - Not sure I will use them but they would look pretty in my stamp box lol!

What a nightmare, I took DD to nursery and she screamed, cried and smacked the teacher cause she picked her up as I was trying to get away, she didn't want me to leave her so I ended up crying aswell!!! no phone calls from the nursery though so I am guessing she is ok! Don't think the teacher was expecting that from her though :rotfl:
Went to drive to asda after dropping her off and my car is all over the road! I have a nice hole in my tyre!!! had to put spare on and waiting for phone call from OH's mate see if he can get me a new one!! don't think I am doing bad, I have been driving 10 years almost and I haven't ever had a puncture or a flat!

Flourgirl, I too am a lover of the Cosmo Cricket papers - I have Early Bird and Jolly By Golly and ordered Earth Love and Nutmeg ages ago but they haven't arrived yet, maybe time to chase them up I think!!!

Rusty, I love your pics of the children in the snow, they look so happy Sorry DD wasn't as happy to go into nursery today, it took DS2 2 weeks to settle into preschool, there was lots of crying, hanging onto my leg...

Not sure if I will be able to make the NEC as it's DS1's birthday on the Saturday. I'd love to come so keep me as a maybe and I'll see what's happening nearer the time .

Rusty .. Awww bless missymoo. I can remember DS 1 not wanting to go to nursery.I couldnt get him through the door, he braced himself onto the frame of the door then i couldnt get him in there :rotfl:Hopefully missymoo just wanted to stay at home and play in the snow with her big brother

Craftygranny Glad to hear that all went well with Carly. Heres hoping that she heals quickly so they can turn her on she sounds like a Christmas tree, bless her. ( Can you tell that i am missing my tree ? It seems so dark here without it )
