Angel crafts have some october afternoon bits reduced at the minute, and papermaze sell loads of their stuff - I think they still have a 20% off everything promotion on.0
-
Flourgirl - dinner was okay - I feel a bit bloated now though!0

Rusty here's a link to the brads and eyelets glittermum got from mad about cards . Postage can be a bit steep but plenty of bargains in the sale and the pound shop to make it worth while. The eyelets and snaps are 36 packs for 7.49 at the moment . I got some a while ago and the colours and everything are fab.
Melissa glad brandon and your o/h got home safely.
My o/h drove carly to bradford in the snow this morning as they still wanted to do her op. She had it done at 2 pm they finished about 6.30 and both implants are working fine although they won't be switched on for about 4 or 5 weeks to give her ears chance to heal.
It snowed from 6.30 am until after 5pm here today.
Hope everyone is feeling much better and hello to everyone.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Just a quickie - I'm on my way to bed really........
Melissa - so very glad to hear Brandon & OH got home safely.
Craftygranny - Pleased to hear Carly's went ahead (on TV here they seemed not to be doing prebooked stuff & I wondered how you'd fare) Hope she has a speedy recovery.
Flourgirl - Sorry to hear you have a cold - hope it's not a really bad one & you feel better very soon.
Rusty - Beautiful photos of your beautiful children you should be very proud of them.
Thanks for facebook stuff Skiergirl, Craftygranny. If only I knew what to do with it!
Mary-op - scalloped circles should be on their way tomorrow - weather permitting.
Hope to actually DO some crafting tomorrow rather than reading about it and tidying workspace. Got a sketch to follow! All decs down now(DH discovered something we'd missed just on midnight:eek: hope we'll be ok) Can you tell I'm very superstitious?0 -
Thanks for all your well wishes - Brandon and OH arrived home at 7.30. Oh had stopped for a cup of tea at his sister's. She had picked up another kid at the school who was left abandoned by the taxi, so OH gave her a lift home. We ended up having
sausage and mash for tea!!!
Mary - there's only a few shops that I've come across that sell october afternoon bits. They do paper pads too, they're 8x8 in size and are a little bit dearer than the basic grey ones.
So glad they got home safely, I am guessing he will not be going to school today though? ooooh sausage and mash!! yum yum!! I looked at the october afternoon papers when you mentioned them ages ago and thought they were cheap considering they were 8x8 and only a little more than normal 6x6! they had some at the NEC aswell!chocolate.orange wrote: »:j Yay !!!! I have a seat booked in Rusty's car..... I pay in hamsters :rotfl::D Will bring some Choccy and pop too
Melissa so pleased that you have the rest of your family back safe and sound. Bet you all enjoyed sausage and mash...
Im off to look at all these links and invest in some 6x6 papers. I did put my shopping elves into the cupboard but the appeared out of there the other day to but ribbondont think i put the chain on the door tight enough :rotfl:
 can we find some other form of payment please :rotfl: I will be renames as Freddie Star if these hamsters keep appearing ... talking of hamsters DS has just got it out to annoy me  :rotfl: Still least they both play with it!!

Thankyou craftygranny - Not sure I will use them but they would look pretty in my stamp box lol!
What a nightmare, I took DD to nursery and she screamed, cried and smacked the teacher cause she picked her up as I was trying to get away, she didn't want me to leave her so I ended up crying aswell!!!no phone calls from the nursery though so I am guessing she is ok! Don't think the teacher was expecting that from her though :rotfl:
Went to drive to asda after dropping her off and my car is all over the road! I have a nice hole in my tyre!!! had to put spare on and waiting for phone call from OH's mate see if he can get me a new one!! don't think I am doing bad, I have been driving 10 years almost and I haven't ever had a puncture or a flat!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Melissa, so glad Brandon and your OH got home safely.
Craftygranny, big hugs to Carly xxx
Flourgirl, I too am a lover of the Cosmo Cricket papers - I have Early Bird and Jolly By Golly and ordered Earth Love and Nutmeg ages ago but they haven't arrived yet, maybe time to chase them up I think!!!
Rusty, I love your pics of the children in the snow, they look so happySorry DD wasn't as happy to go into nursery today, it took DS2 2 weeks to settle into preschool, there was lots of crying, hanging onto my leg...
Not sure if I will be able to make the NECas it's DS1's birthday on the Saturday. I'd love to come so keep me as a maybe and I'll see what's happening nearer the time
