    Got a paint can?

Here's the answer! The lady decorating the paint can owns my local ( ha ha) craft shop. 80 miles round trip, so quite local :D. One of the reasons why it's better for me to shop on line.

Rusty, here's a link to a site I've bought brads from. What was the card candy like you recently bought on ebay? Any good?

The card candy was carp!! mine is still sitting on the kitchen bench where it has been since saturday!! It is very thin and very very small, too small for a square 3d dot to go on :( I was so unhappy with it! my own stupid fault though!

Dawnteabag - Wow!! that card is beautiful!! can I ask if you have a link for the Di's die cuts please?

Rusty i have some similar i got a few weeks ago mine is a tiny bit smaller but looks ok in the centre of a flower or used like a small gem . Fixed mine on with a little bit of silicone glue. if you need some silicone glue i bought some tubes ages ago and hardly ever use it so have a spare tube.

    Hi Rusty

I don't think she sells online - I bought them in a goody bag at the show at Harrogate earlier this year - I can send you a couple of the Christmas ones if you'd like.

    eta - found her online

I didn't know that either! Never thought to ask before!

Anyway, what you doing on here? You following me?! I've been spending all my money on craft stuff since the house is almost finished :o

And you're getting a Cuttlebug? That's not fair! I've been umming and erring as to whether to ask for one for my Birthday. Let me know if it's worth it :)

Keeping my fingers crossed for TomsDad to be home for Xmas too for you.

Question for people who buy papers online, especially 12x12's - do they package them in stiff envelopes?

Ooh, TomsMom, my card blog is here: http://cardsbyjones.blogspot.com/ I hope you've set one up.... :D

Well, I had quite a shock when I found Jammie and you on here - I only came across this thread by accident, can't even remember now how it came about and it was only this morning :o (oh dear, senior moment again :rotfl: ).

Ta for your blog link. No, I haven't set up a card blog. I have photos/scans of most of my cards but honestly don't think I've got anything like as fab as some of the cards I've seen on some of the links I've checked out from this thread and certainly nothing to teach any of you all.

I'm hoping the Cuttlebug wont take too long to arrive. I've pondered for a few weeks about getting one. I used to have an outlet for my cards and had saved up a cash stash from selling them, decided to treat myself to see if I can get back into the swing as it's a long time since I've made a card other than a get well one for TD. My friend showed me one she'd made at her card class and it made me drool so I decided to treat myself especially after seeing on a craft forum I visit that lots of people were singing its praises.

I'll have to have a sift through my craft stuff and see what basics I need. I'd like to get some ribbons, flowers, maybe buttons, etc. Just need to try and get out and see some in the flesh but it's at least 1.5 hours drive from here and difficult at the moment. Perhaps I will scour some websites for ideas and see what's being used at the moment and order on the net.

I saw this lovely stamp today and almost got tempted. Trouble is not quite sure what to do with it, don't want to just stamp out a topper and plonk it on a card. See - I've got no imagination at the moment. I've got a snow embossing folder coming for the Cuttlebug so that's a start for a background!

Has anyone used Flowersoft? I saw on C & C yesterday there is a Nut Brown one which was used for hedgehogs, maybe use it for the robin? Or get red for it's chest (wasn't sure if the b word would get sensored :rotfl: ). Someone tell me Flowersoft's rubbish and I wont buy any.

    It's rubbish don't buy any :D

That is a cute stamp T&NM :P even though I'm not a stamper, I quite like it! :) Fond of robins here. Sorry to hear TD is not so good. Think its hard to keep spirits up when he is so poorly. Make him a card :D

Lots of ppl here use the cuttlebug (don't ask about nesties you will be bankrupt). I have an old sizzix from back in the day but barely use it to be honest. I just buy all my die cuts cut for me now as I don't have the time to cut them as well :)

Rusty - I had not heard of card candy. The lovely Sylphy had to tell me what it was. It looks like hole punches to me :D

Already done that, put something inside along the lines of "Can you hurry up and come home, you make better coffee than me" :D. Had to make it standing up as no chair at desk in loft room at the moment, although I sat on the bed to cut out the decoupage.

I think this thread is going to damage my health. So busy with lots of posts, keeping me up past my bedtime :rotfl: .
