Nannyboo - thanks for that will discuss nearer the time.

Helping Hubby - The 12x12 I've ordered has usually come in Pizza boxes except for some bazill that I ordered from the glitterpot and that came in the biggest card backed envelope I've ever seen :D. I also have a fantastic postman who treats all my parcels like babies :rotfl:.

Finished my CP swap card so will post it to you tomorrow Rusty

Card idea for rainmac and her new papers
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p
  • Most of the 12 x 12 papers i've bought have come either in pizza style boxes or if just a few between sheets of stiff cardboard.

    Got a paint can?

Here's the answer! The lady decorating the paint can owns my local ( ha ha) craft shop. 80 miles round trip, so quite local :D. One of the reasons why it's better for me to shop on line.

Rusty, here's a link to a site I've bought brads from. What was the card candy like you recently bought on ebay? Any good?

Well I am feeling REALLY upset - my mum phoned today to say that the 30 Xmas Cards I made for her had arrived & get this... her words were "ooh hello just wanted to let you know that the cards have arrived safely, got them yesterday - must admit I'm a bit disappointed cos you didn't use gems on them - they're very nice tho..."

I worked soooo hard on those cards and its never nice to be told you're a disappointment is it!! I don't think I'll be doing that again!!! Feel totally gutted!!

aww popkins thats so awful of your mum! sometimes they are the worst for saying exactly what they think but end up just hurting your feelings :( hugs xx

I remember the first card I made from a sketch layout, I was dead pleased with it and couldn't wait to show my mum, and the first thing she said was "hmm its very 'busy' isn't it?" you just can't win with mum's sometimes!

That's cool. What is the tube/brush thing that she uses to do the edges of the card?
