Craftygranny the card I used for the mints was from a company called A Touch of Craft, the card just came as a block (6x6), most of the stuff they sold was in blocks they also had craftworks cards sentiments for £1, wish I had bought tons of them too. They were at the Stampin up show at the Dome, I have tried to find them on the internet with no success. I am hoping they will be at the next show in April.

Blimey I am sooooooooooooooo embarrassed at being number one chatterbox :o:o:o, I'll sit on my hands every few days to reduce my number of posts ;)

Mary, am thinking of you and Mr Mary and will have my pants and socks on inside out tomorrow. Please look after yourself as well as him won't you xxx

Sal, sorry you're still feeling rough. My very sore throat has turned into a bit of a sore throat with a cold so I too am sneezing, coughing etc. Want it to clear up for the weekend as we are off to London with the boys to see Father Christmas at Harrods. They don't know why we're going so it will be a lovely surprise.

Flourgirl, have a go at an easel card, I think you'll like them ;)

I've got 3 friends coming round tonight for a Chinese and a chat. I made a lemon cheesecake for pudding and after I had a small slice (to check it was edible ;)), gave the boys a slice each for pudding and cut two more slices for OH and his mate (OH is going to a mate's house to play XBox games ), there's hardly any left for later!!!

Rainmac I'm not that far behind you with the posts :o people will think we spend all day chatting on here :o no wonder you have a sore throat!! lol Hope you feel better by tomorrow xx

I'm going to have a go at an easel card later.

Oh I love lemon cheescake (licking my lips) please dont tease me I'm trying my best at WW. Somehow a lemon yogurt doesnt do it :( lol

Mary If it will help I will wear everything inside out for you and Mr Mary tomorrow. I do hope things go as planned for you both, I will be thinking of you and sending positive vibes. Take care of yourself too xx

  • Nannyboo1 I think its best to use double sided tape... Although im not 100 % sure what you mean , so might be best to ignore me LOL

That's what I was thinking but wasn't sure if it was right or there was some special technique lol xxx

nannyboo looks like thats the one. The site is a bit basic though, I wonder if its new? It was quite a big stall and very cheap.

flourgirl - thanks.............everything inside out !!! Got to be good vibes there ..............here's hoping anyway:j

rainmac - had an attempt at peg magnets this afternoon..........hadn't got much ribbon and need some bits to decorate them .............showed OH and he couldn't quite work it out.................lol Men !!
Theres a little card making shop in a precinct on the way to the hospital and he's promised me a little outing there tomorrow so I can get a few bits (hopefully)
Unless hospital want him there at some silly time........appts 3.15 so I wouldn't have thought they'd want him before lunchtime at earliest but can never understand how hospitals work.
He was told off this morning for being early for his blood test (come early the lady said) and when we got there early for his scan the other week they were pleased and he got seen straight away:confused: No rhyme nor reason to it. Anyway, I'll let you know how we get on.............now he's worrying about what I'll do round the hospital while I'm waiting for him.
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Just been catching up with the thread.

Great to see you around Saveapenny and Npsamama – I’d been wondering how you were, as I hadn’t seen you post for a while. Npsamama your box is fab.

Craftygranny – glad things went well for the girls last week. Sounds like you had a great day yesterday and made a fantastic amount for the appeal well done. Congratulation to Danielle on the pregnancy, I bet you’re all really excited. Hope your knee is improving too.

Rusty sorry to hear what happened to your son last week. Hope you get some answers from the school, and he is now fully recovered.

Glittermum – I posted your CP Swap card to you at the end of last week – hope it arrived ok.

Mary – glad the hospital has got in touch with you after the hassle you have had trying to track someone down. Hope all goes well tomorrow for your OH, I’ll have my fingers and toes crossed for him and will of course be wearing things inside out!

Sound like you had a fab time with your friend Rainmac, and Flourgirl with all that shopping!

    Great cards on here/your blogs – The Wife (love the black and white); Sunrise 27 – bet your ‘baby’ will love them;

Sorry your craft fair was a disappointment Louby Lou Lou – hope you manage to sell everything should you do another before the baby is due.

Sounds like you had a fab time Paddingtondoo at the Gourmet Dinner.

Rainmac – great idea for Christmas Jokes at the dinner table, I may have to ‘borrow’ that idea.

Love the socks in the wine glass idea Sally. Looks like you have been really busy for your craft fair. Hope it is very successful for you.

alyssa_liss – love the snowman soup you have made – and really like the purple Christmas card you have done. Well done.

nannyboo1 – when I made the mint card, I use 2 twilight chocolates and the card dimensions are 11cm x 6cm with a score line at 5cm and 6 cm. I attach with double sided tape.

I’ve made some more easel cards tonight so have uploaded them to my blog.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000
