Paddingtondoo - I'm glad it finally arrived then!!
BabyKat - your jewellery is gorgeous - you are talented! Your cakes look delicious - I love banana cake!
Thriftyscotslass - sounds like you've had a terrible time. I find that if I'm feeling fed up crafting really helps me - I immerse myself in papers and stamps and it helps me forget everything for a while. Like you I haven't got any real friends so I love talking to the lovely ladies on here. You're probably better off looking at people's blogs and figuring out what sort of things you'd like to make - that way you wont waste money buying things that you'll never use.
Sunrise - great card!0 -
sunrise -Wish I could get my OH into making cards..............he has ideas sometimes but won't sit down and have a go.
That''s brilliant...............well done your OH:T
rainmac - thanks -don't want many magnets..........was just going to have a go at a few to add to parcels.........half a dozen maximum, even less maybe:jI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

my hubby loves making cards . originally it started off as a small hobby to keep me occupied now the children are growing up but its taken on a life of its own, hubby decided to have a go and is now completely hooked, he has done 2 wedding invitation orders this year and is working on 2 table plans at the moment
he has a very creative side and is finding it very relaxing0 -

Hi Thriftyscotslass - sounds like things have been really carp to put it mildly - if you have a printer there is so much free stuff around that all you really need to buy to start off with is card double sided tape and scissors
I'm an honorary scot being married to one although I'm far more stingy than he is:rotfl:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Hello everyone just dropping by to see what has been going on in the thread- it moves so fast I can`t keep up most of the time!
I have created a new blog with some of my crafty Christmas makes on it. No cards yet as I still haven`t got round to them yet...eek! Tonights task is some little thanks cards for the girls at work as I leave in 5 weeks and have done them some little gifts.
I am a little annoyed with myself for buying the cuttlebug Christmas dies without checking out the sizes as they are tiny and look silly on the cards I have tried out.
I hope to have a nice professional looking design that I can easily replicate!
I`ll have to have a good think. I`m doing MIL and SIL a bookatrix card which I love making - just need to get some festive card colours. Looks like it will be an order at Papermill as my local art shop never has any nice reds and greens!
