Mumhug - So sorry to hear that, I used to miss all sorts when I was a part timer in a big office - console yourself by buying stash with the money you'll save, not just the tickets, the new outfit, drinks etc or plan a super night out with your OH much nicer. (Mind you, I hate Xmas parties so it's easy for me to say)
Alyssa - Sorry I can't help with blog stuff I tried one last May & gave up0 -
Hi all just popping i say hi I am feeling all sorry for myself today. Ijust found out that they are having a huge xmas party at work and no one invited me. Now it is too late as it has all been paid for. So I thought I would pop in and see my virtual freinds as you lot are always around lol.
That's awful mumhug - wish someone had forgotten to ask me to mine - is costing about £150 with clothes and everything else which I could have spent on stash :rotfl:I've even had to buy a dress!!
I looked at those punches marg but decided to be good :A
I am a stashoholic and I've been spend free for the last 14 days :T:TOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

I have spent all day trying to make a rocket card for my sons birhtday and it is driving me insane:mad:, it doesnt look anything how i want it to look and, well its completely different, and i feel really deflated by it, so much so that i think i might just throw it in the bin and NOT bother starting again.
It just looks like a child has made it.
Ive put it in a box out of the way and i migh go back to it tommorrow with fresh eyes and try to finish it cos if i sit staring at it, it will drive me nuts.
Had to go into town today as i misplaced my cashcard and the only place i used it yesterday was in morrison's so i rang them and YES i had left it in the card machine:o, but they had it should i want to go and pick it up, PHEW!!!!
On the way back i just had to pop into the craft shop - when i walked in the young girl behind the counter said hello, your fast becoming our Number 1 customer:eek: I dont know if that is a good thing or a bad thing.
ANyway they let me have a peek at the new stock they had just had delivered but none of it took my fancy. But i did somehow manage to still spend £50. Mainly on the storage boxes for my 12x12 papers and some A4 ones and a few smaller ones to put my stamps and stuff in. So all my stuff is now super organised.
Although i still never seem to be able to find what im lookig for without routing through every box.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -
yep pretend its not botherd you , save you money in the long run , can spend it on crafty stuff instead
thanks THEWIFE0 -
Padster - I'm feeling quite smug (something's bound to go wrong) I missed a second hand one on ebay that went for £16 + p & p of £2.20ish and Hobby House was £15.99 & free postage! Result!:j If it arrives.
Congratulations on your spend free status :beer:0 -

how is everyone ?? im a bit in limbo at the moment , me and the OH are tryin to figure if we can afford to move out together to rent , which i think we can just! or should we stay as we are at parents and save for a morgage (which will take ages)
Alyssa, that's a tough one, I'd say stay where you are and keep saving but people tell me I am far too sensible sometimes
Finally finished my snowman soup last night ready for Saturday... http://rainmacsplace.blogspot.com/
Been shopping today and I bought some indoor fireworks from Hawkins Bazaar. I remember my m&d buying these when I was little and we used to think they were great. Going to take them to my m&d on Christmas Day and set them off after dinnerAlso bought some snow, this. Also thinking of altering a tub and making a Christmas dinner table joke/trivia tub.

www.cutestblogontheblock.com two good sites for backgrounds
Got this info from Background Fairy if this is what you want to do, ie change your background.
1)Make sure you are logged in and then click "Customize" at the top of your blog.
2)Click on "Add A Gadget"
3)Scroll down the box and click on "Html/Javascript"
4)In the "Content Box" cut and paste the Html code posted below. (which will be the background that you would like)
5)Click "Save" and you are done!
