hi all, just a quick visit - commented on blogs - Gemma & Dragonllew your cards are fab!!
Also, wanting to ask advice re stamping - I've got a couple of stamps but not really stamped anything yet and when I first started card making and went and bought a couple of bits I bought a black Ink it up stamp pad - is this ok - or have I bought the wrong one?0 -
Kim_Possible wrote: »Fab cards. Is the border and the snowflake martha stewart punches? Ive been thinking of investing in some:rolleyes:
yes they are both martha stewart ones, I got mine from america recently and they worked out a bit cheaper than over here. I do think they are worth the money though, they punch much more crisply and cleanly than my other brands of punches and I will carry on buying them, even at UK prices0 -

ali there is no wrong ink padjust depends on what you are planning on doing with the image afterwards! colour with promarkers or similar? heat embossing?
thanks for your lovely comment on my card0 -
Dragonllew - love the birthday cards, especially all the glitter, lol. Perfect for a little girl.
Gemma - Your xmas card is gorgeous, I bet you'll be getting lots of use out of that stamp.

I've been making xmas cards with some small card blanks from the pound stall at the NEC. They're such good quality cards, I wish I'd bought loads more. I'll stock up on them in March.
I also picked up some Anita's clear gloss today in Hobbycraft (will MSE blank that out as a swear word?). I'm hoping it will work as well as the glossy accents.
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
dragonllew - fantastic castle card, it has given me an idea to make a spaceship one for my son, i hope i can get it to work how it looks in my head.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

princesswoo & Marg - i'm glad you're images arrived. The stamps are gorgeous aren't they? Have fun colouring themRustyFlange wrote: »Lei - Thankyou for the images, they are beautiful and so crisp!! what ink do you use?
Rusty I've used Memento ink as I know you use ProMarkers so they shouldn't bleed but I actually think that Stazon gave a crisper image when I stamped some for myself...
popkins & mygeorgie hopefully your packages arrive safely too x0
