  • Thanks Craftygranny! I still feel like it's a fib doing my craft and trying to pass it off as a business.....seems to work with hubby though hehehehe :o) I'm just so glad to be able to be doing creative things again, before this it had been about 7-8 years and then it was just cross stitch. I prefer the card making and things as you can get the results so much quicker, and it's lovely to give someone a "made" card instead of a bought one. I keep trying to convince myself I'm saving money making cards for people, but the reality is it seems to cost much more but then I love it! I get so excited when I get a parcel through with gems and trimmings etc, it's like Christmas!! Maybe if I stop buying so many pretty new cardmaking things then I will save money!

Have a lovely trip Rusty, safe journey hon.

Off to bed now I think. My parents and little brother are coming over tomorrow so housework and roast dinner are order of the day. Taking the eldest and my little brother (ironically only 8 months between them) to alton towers on Friday. MIL is looking after the youngest, so will feel like quite a grown up day not having mountains of nappies and supplies with me and a pushchair to push!

    I love Martin, he's saved me a fortune!!!:money:

Can anyone please pm me oap's address as I'd love to send her cp swap card after the weekend, I'm frightened to post anything at the moment as a couple of cards haven't arrived that I've sent.

Mind you, the bills manage to reach us without fail.

Little bit of MSE here, they sell Basic Grey 6 x 6 half pack pads, 18 sheets for £3.29. you have to scroll down quite a way but there's about 6 or so designs but not the new Chrissy ones this morning.
