craftygranny thank you so much for the manga images - you have sent me so many:A i will have great fun colouring them in and will use a few to make some cards for you too.
I now need to get some promarkers to colour my images (having tried rusty's I now NEED some!). thanks melissa for the link to Amazon. I will buy them from there as I can use my valued opinions points so I'm not spending real money:D
I have been looking at the sets they sell and noticed that there are promarker sets and manga sets. the pens look identical to me but does anyone know any different. TIA

I gave you some promarkers to give you a kick up the bum ;) or did you forget about them ;) Remember no duplicating, and get some colours I don't have so I can borrow yours when I visit :rotfl:
Heelo ladies, sorry I've been AWOL for so long :o - I had 4 straight nights of partying to celebrate getting my Master's , then a long weekend recovering!
Things have been very hectic here - me and my friend decided lsat week that we're going into business together. :) We've found the shop that we wnat in an ideal location and it's vacant from 1st December - we'll be selling vintage clothing and vgc second-hand clothing on commission for customers who want to sell them. It's all go now trying to get everything in place.

I can't go back to where I left off on here, it's too daunting. :o
Just wanted to say (although someone may already have posted this), I bought Papercraft Inspirations today in Sainsbury's. It's £3.99 and comes with Christmas stamps, but also has a free copy of DoCrafts Creativity with the Forever Friends Christmas stamp. :D

I will be at the NEC next Friday - has anyone made arrangements yet for how we'll all find each other?

Woooohoo you are coming :j :j :j I am sooooo glad. you can PM me your number if you like?? I am coming by car at silly o clock in the morning via durham to pick up bunbun and via notts to pick up choccy!! :D
Bunbun glad your images got to you before the posties start messing about again. We have stuff missing from sept still including a parcel from rusty. Think the posties playing with it . lol.

My Georgie I have replied to your pm . Thank You although that doesn't seem enough.

Mumhug . Thank you so much for the huge parcel of cards that arrived this morning they are fab and the bookmarks never thought of making any of those. Will pm you soon. Thank you again although thank you never feels like it covers it iykwim.

 Still?? I am so sorry! I presumed it had eventually arrived as you hadn't said anything :( I will have to try and sort some little bits and bobs out for her :( I hate royal Mail. They have lost so many of my ebay parcels over this last month and it is costing me a fortune!!!!!

I am hoping to craft tonight, I need to finish off 9 calendars, make 6 more, and I have quite a bit of decoupage I would like to make up and make cards for. I am hoping someone somewhere will have loads of the forever friends decoupage at the NEC as I really love them at the minute!!

I won't be around for a couple of days after tomorrow morning as me and the kids are off upto Aberdeen to see OH for a long weekend :D ... we will be home on Monday and it saves OH having the long drive home on Fri then back up on monday :j to say the children are excited is an understatement!! :j :j not sure how I will survive without you all though?? no crafty fix or me!!

hope you are all ok and hopefully be back later with some proof of crafting!! after all I have my new lovely cosmo cricket pad which bunbun FORCED me to buy :rotfl: (least that is what I will tell OH if he notices ;))

Rainmac- I've gone for the 75mm too - couldn't find any bigger!

Just been to the Range for loads of Bazill and waiting for the boys to go to bed to get cracking on some post it note holders!

JHB - way to go celebrating for 4 days - and good luck with your new venture - sounds really exciting.

Fab, we've got the same, I think they will be fine x

Not sure what the problem is with the button but to add it to your sidebar try this...
When on your blog click on Customise in the top right corner
    Click on 'Add Gadget'
    Select Picture
Title - add your own wording
Caption - add if want to
Link - paste this in box http://cardsforalicia.blogspot.com/
Image - click on 'from the web' and paste this blurb into box http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_XYv9m-BgMaw/SuTtiWIes0I/AAAAAAAAAdY/nV_X8ciCTz4/S220/alicia_button.png
    Save

    That should do it?

This is a picture when it was tidy, before I started card making again...

I was trying to be MSE by buying something practical for our future kids (hopefully). If we have 2 then I won't have room for crafting so will the desk and bookshelf will serve as furniture for them. Got the lot from Ikea.

I thought they were Ikea - can you remember what name they were called

I keep all my paper/card in the magazine holders (the red and green one top left), I've divided them all up into colours and put them in A4 plastic sleeves so it's dead easy to see and pull out what I need.

I'm still looking for some drawers (for small things like embellishments) that will fit in the bookshelf.

I also need some practical way of organising my stickers and peel offs.

    Hope that helps.

thank you so much for sharing

You two cheeky ladies :rotfl: I only have 90 something I think? may be a few less? I have none of the new colours :( and I still have some outstanding of the old colours which I need to get. OH said he would buy me the new 56 colours for christmas if I wanted them, but I don't think I want all craft stuff for christmas and he has already spent a fortune on my stocking!!!

I have made a decoupage card :j :j :j actually looks a lot better than I thought it would The kit was a jolly nation one and I'm not sure why but there is something about them that i'm not keen on, but this one has turned out good. I shall pop some pics on my blog later on .... only stopped crafting cause the programme on tv finished and I had to put something else on :rotfl:

Now what do I do next ... calendars or more decoupage :rotfl:

Bunbun I hope you have been making cards tonight :A
