Hi everyone - not been on in aaaages. Had some stuff going on at home so have been a bit zoned out crafty wise. Got so many pages to catch up on - have you all listed your blogs on here? I thought I was following you all but am obviously not. Can I be cheeky and get you all to give me the links again in case I don't get back on again for a while? (I check my blog links every day)

I've signed up to the pressie swap if you'll have me ;)

Rusty - congratulations on your sales :j

Lei - very funky card :T

Ali - congratulations on winning the challenge :D

Furry - have you ever been to the glitter pot at Haywards Heath ? ;)

sh3ri3 - fab card, I think I may have to 'borrow' that idea if I may ?

Welcome back Marg, glad you had a good holiday :D

Raimnac - can I come round too please ?, I love brownies :D Thank you for the email :A

For anyone who hasn't got it, my blog is here

Right, off to get a coffee, then over to crafty place :D

Hello busy bees...............I'm gobsmacked at how much you can fit in -such a lot of catching up to do in a day..............lol

CT - you'd probably fall out the door laughing if you saw some of my concoctions (can't call them creations........lol:rotfl:)
Robins breakfast - came about when we didn't know what to do with some little seed pots I'd had given me......some were bright red and OH came up with the idea of filling them with birdseed, popping a little robin on top(the sort you get to decorate cakes) and voila ! 'Robin redbreasts christmas breakfast'............what he didn't do is demonstrate how to keep the seed from falling out of the pot................lol I ended up cutting a piece of white card (supposed to look like snow) a bit bigger than the top of the pot, added some glue dots so when I folded it down to fit they held it on to the pot -hope that makes sense. Added robin on top and bit of holly .......wrapped in cellophane, tied with ribbon and put label on.
I've done 6 -think thats enough else I'll be dreaming about them...................:rotfl:

I now have a clean pantry :T Took a good two hours, more really...............but now its all nice and tidy, jars all sorted out so I can see whats what and then OH walks in............first thing he does is re-arrange the shelves moving the stuff about ! Normally him who cooks anyway so I suppose he's entitled to.............:o
Least we can both see whats in there now..............lol
And we've had a de-clutter of all the 'stuff' that just doesn't get used.
So, good day....................hope it keeps on that way:j
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Thanks Skiergirl, I'm now following :) Any more for any more? (As my Mum would say!)

eta: Aha - I think I spot some of you on Skiergirls follower list ;) Prepare to be visited!

alyssa_liss My absolute must haves are a cutting mat - I have a big one and a small one but both have been used to paint and glue on so I need to get another one to have for 'clean' crafting ;) Some scissors, some double sided tape and some good card stock. You are good to go from there (in my opinion) and then you can gradually keep adding to your stash. Card making wise these other girls are more help as I am a reluctant card maker at the best of times , I'm so bad at it :D

Whoopidoo this is mine, will try and update it late tonight. Have you got one and if so have you got a link to it?
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

Alyssa_liss - welcome! As for basics I second whoopidoo - a nice big cutting mat is a must. I couldn't do without foam pads to give dimension to projects - and as has been said just recently, digital images are great(and cheap!)
  • ive downloaded a few pictures/patterns ......do you just print these out on card ?

    soo
    card
    scissors
    cutting mat
    foam pads
    images
double sided tape ... ill have to go to the shops tomorrow:)
