Oh Thank you Gemma I didn't like to ask but had wondered if Royal Mail were messing me about again...........

Did my Tatty Teds arrive OK folks?.......goes back to paranoia corner.........
  • Rainmac - Hope Thomas is feeling better soon, and you aswell! Sounds like you had a good bargain hunt in the craft warehouse ;) as you said it would be rude to not acknowledge the 20% off!

Marg - I meant to reply to the email, yes and thankyou for the tatty teddies :D they are beautiful!

Mrs Tidge - Beautiful ATC arrived at my house this morning in a lovely folder card!! Thankyou I will try and get photos tonight!

Gemm - Thankyou for the beautiful stamped images in the lovely wallet that you sent me!! They are fab and the wallet is so beautiful!! thankyou! x

Not sure if others have seen it on the pot of gold thread but 3cheekyprincess has posted up something for Ikea ... take in a minimum of 5 books and recieve a £5 ikea gift card for doing so!!
I have just pulled something in my back trying to get to my box of books at the bottom of the boxes in the garage! Managed to get 20 out and I plan on giving DS 5 to take in with me and then 5 for myself which should give me £10 ... then on Thursday when I go to bunbuns I am going to take in another 5 as I pass ... and the same again on the way home ... OH said we could go up at the weekend with more aswell :D ... by the end of thursday I hope to have £20 in ikea vouchers which will go to one side for when we start to re decorate the whole house :)

Check your local ikea - then look for the SAVE THE CHILDREN BOOK DONATION here

Mary - misread your post - I originally thought it read you were getting ribbon for your new door - I had visions of you being like the queen - "I now announce this door open" - cutting the ribbon:rotfl:

Mary op I'd read it like that too!

JHB - a bit late to say but sorry I didn't do Uni so couldn't do your survey.

Rainmac - so glad your little one seems a bit better and it was nothing too serious.

I went blog hopping this morning (a rare ocurrance for me) and I saw where a lady had decorated spring loaded wooden clothes pegs with self adhesive ribbon and a few gems and wondered if they could be used with the coaster calendars instead of a bulldog clip? Might suit a kitchen type application? Just taken me ages to find it again!

Anyway here's the link (not an inspiring title is it? - Sorry)

Rusty - thanks for the IKEA idea will see if this inspires DH to take me again - last time I wasn't allowed to look at stuff, just whisked to the stock room bit to get stuff.
  • Good evening to everyone. Just had a good time catching up on threads and admiring everyone's handiwork which is lovely as ever. I haven't made anything lately although I'm hoping to remedy that soon. DS off to Uni on Friday and quite a lot of 'stuff' going with him too. My house may possibly look a little tidier by the weekend. I do still need to sort my crafting stuff out though. Who knows what goodies I'll discover. Off for a bit more 'surfing' now.
