I wonder if anyone can update me on the NEC trip in November please? I really want to go but none of my friends/family craft and wouldn't be interested so it would be great to meet up with you lovely ladies - Furrypig think you said maybe we could travel up together which would be great!!? Anyway, who is going & when - was it the Friday? and how is the best way for me to book a ticket - have you all booked your tickets now? Hels - think its a fab idea to have it as a hen do!! woop woop!!
Anyway
Hi Popkins I am gonna go on the Friday as it was a great day to go last time (not too busy/mad!). I haven't booked my rail tickets yet but when I last looked I could go from Guildford to the NEC for about £31 but this was arriving just after 11am otherwise to get there earlier wa a lot more!! Would be cheaper to leave later but didn't want to sit for 2 hours at the NEC after the craft hall had closed!! Mind you I did catch the 7pm train last time and the lovely Choccy kept me company til then!! Do let me know if u r planning on catchingthe train/ want to know what I am doing etc etc xxx0 -
Forgot to say I still haven't booked my ticket but got it via the tesco clubcard deals last time and will do the same again. Must start writing a list of things to do feeling tired and brain not working!!0

Hiya Rusty, I'm waiting for the Basic Grey's Eskimo Kisses to come out, its yummy, shan't use it though, it's only for stroking!
I'm still waiting to see what train I can catch from Euston and the price before I can confirm that I'm coming to Hels hen day, still not sure whether to drive or not from sunny Essex. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -

Did I read that correctly?! I wish my OH liked me going to craft shops, he doesn't like all my crafting, I think because it takes up so much space, I have really useful boxes taking over!0 -
what did you get then?
Couple of smirk stamps, 3 x pack of 3 acrylic blocks, a magazine, some glitter, a popcorn bear stamp think that was it?? there is probably something I have forgotten though?Hiya Rusty, I'm waiting for the Basic Grey's Eskimo Kisses to come out, its yummy, shan't use it though, it's only for stroking!

Erm yes you did read it right. My OH said we could go up there today for a look and see if there was anything I wanted .... I had a lot of money go into my account yesterday which was very very unexpected so I bought some bits for the kids for christmas, some bits for DS's birthday, some bits for OH for christmas and then I treated myself... OH also said I should put in an order for something online
.... he never said what the something should be and I can't decide so I will order papers and stamps I think
might even stretch to some new colour promarkers!
