I actually came on here to say I had been cardmaking this weekend (shock horror). I finally got round to making 5 cards as I was inspired by some of the challenge sketches I came across when blog surfing. They are all on my blog along with Molly's CP kids challenge entry (there are some great kids cards there! well done all the young talent!!)

Well I have finally caught up with all the washing and ironing from the holidays and have started cleaning the caravan, nearly done but its raining here and turned really cold.

I came home to 2 lovely suprises you can see one of them here Thank-you so much Rainmac, it was just what I needed to cheer me up:A

There was also a large parcel delivered on Saturday morning and I hadn't a clue what it was. DH thought I had been buying again (not yet:D) and when I opened it I still didn't have a clue, it wasn't until I checked on CP and found I had won the August Challenge. I have taken some photographs of the fantastic stash and will put them on my blog later.

Still need to read everyones blog, I'm guessing there will be loads of fab cards on there to comment on.

I'm another one who can't make the NEC on the Friday, I'm very sorry I won't get to meet you all. I am going to try and go on the Saturday with two people from work; that's if you don't all buy everything the day before and there isn't any stock left!!

Furrypig - lovely cards as always, and a family effort, well done.

Flourgirl - I absolutely love your CCC princess challenge card on your blog, it is gorgeous. I have made a Disney Princess card today for my niece's birthday, will take a photo to post.

What is CCC and where will I find challenges? Do you still do the challenges on here? If possible I would like to join in when I can. Can I join in in things even though I don't have a blog?

    *snipped sorry
CCC is creative card crew blog here.
We do still do challenges on here - think Marg is doing the current one - think it's xmas cards for serving soldiers to send home.
You don't need a blog to join in - I mainly blog mine as it's easier for me to upload my pictures there as photobucket hates me :D - so I just link to my blog - you can normally email entries for challenges on blogs the details are usually in the sidebar - there are lots of links to current challenges on mine although I haven't had time to enter many just recently :o.

Have just spent today laying most of the utility room floor to match the kitchen - not easy when you have to work round the fridge freezer and washer as they won't go back out the door :rotfl:
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Back from my 2nd day at the craft fair, I have only sold 2 cards lol but tons of baby and adults gifts so i am quite happy. Last day tomorrow and they are expect a better turn out than today. It was dead until 2 then we had a mad rush on. It rained all day though so it kept people away today. Me and another stall that sold wooden roses were the only ones that took any money today.
There is a phoenix trading card stall that seem to be doing really well, but i always find there stuff all a bit the same and a bit pricey so i don't know what the attraction is and there is a lady that sell handmade stitched cars that are lovely. She did well yesterday but not one sell today.
Fingers crossed i can sell some big nappy cakes as i need the room i store them in for the baby.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)
