My little kitty is home. They didn't find anything on first lot of tests, still awaiting some results from blood tests and if nothing comes up in these then they will reconsider what they are going to do. They think he had a fit rather than a heart problem as such but heart specialist on holiday this week so might go back in to see him when he gets back. They are not sure what caused fit but if they don't find anything specific they might leave it to see if he has any more. (not looking forward to that option, would rather know what problem is). He has just been sleeping all night looking sorry for himself. He really is like a baby to his. We don't have kids and me and hubby really molly coddle him. He was born premature and was only one in litter who survived and we were on a waiting list but breeder let us have him as we were desperate for him and my sister already had a Persian from her. Hopefully he will have perked up a bit in morning.
Hamish I know how you feel as my cat had a fir I thought he had died and it was awful!! It was late one night and we had to wake the kids up and take the cat to an emergency vet. Then we went back with him later on to see a neurologist who then saw him again and he had an MRI scan and the cat equivalent of a lumbar puncture (back of the neck) and an overnight stay. Cost well over £1000 and this was a few years ago now thanks goodness for insurance.
They never did find anything wrong with him but he has never had another one in front of me and several years later is still here thank goodness, a well loved member of the family.
Fingers crossed for you xxx0 -

Rainmac - you beat me to it! I've managed to get that crossed off my to do list today - I've put some pics on my blog - a few of Elliot, one of the fab nappy cake and goodies I got from you girls and some pics of all the lovely cards that I've received:

Lei_Armstrong - ta for the Wilko tip!
Oap - your oriental card is lovely - I've never heard of a momiji card before! Elliot's brothers are great with him - I have to keep telling them to leave him alone as they constantly want to kiss and hold him. I know I sound mean, but I keep getting him off to sleep and then one of them manages to wake him up!0 -
Mel.. the Momiji are Japanese friendship dolls and according to the mag are "the latest collectable craze to sweep the nation" so since neither you or I have heard of them we don't live here!!!!! but the are so cute. I just looked at your blog, that is one seriously bonnie baby, so glad his brothers are happy with him, when sons 1 and 2 came to see me and no 3 in hospital I was told very firmly to "leave him for another mummy and come home"0
