What??? That doesn't make any sense as you got referred for the scan didn't you. You NEED the scan for them to work out what is going on. Sorry I'm not helping am I :o. I am sooo sorry, hope you get the opportunity to curl up on the sofa with a cuppa and watch some carp on the TV to unwind and then head up to bed.

My OH is stuck in London working and he's still there because things haven't gone to plan today. Me and the boys have been to Gulliver's Land in Milton Keynes today and it was brilliant. Loads for them to do and the weather stayed dry :j I feel very gulity cos OH has had such a carp day.

So shall we go for Friday for the NEC? I need to talk nicely to my OH to get him to take the day off work ;)

    I shall pm you :)

Glad you had a lovely day with the boys xx

    a) I can get the time off (can't really ask when I'm signed off :p)
    b) OH can get the time off to do the school run
    c) train tickets won't cost an arm and a leg - cheapest so far is £55 for Friday
    d) how much I spend going to Harrogate in 3 weeks :D

Just a quick note to say:

Rusty - I hope your DD gets better soon and that the hospital sort you out soon. My Dad has been waiting ages to see the specialist about his back and they keep messing up - they don't seem to actually talk to each other, just send a letter and assume it got there!

I've posted my stitched card on my blog but I have cheated a bit as I haven't had time to mount them...sorry if they don't count!! Link's in my sig!

Friday would be better for me too for NEC so looks like I'll be off to book my ticket with the vouchers that came the other day!!

I'm not sure whether I will be able to do the Friday. will have to look at getting the boys to school and see if I can re arrange my teaching.

rusty sorry you are having such a carp day. why on earth did they send you an appointment for a scan if you weren't meant to have it...
hope Maddison is feeling a bit better. now OH has gone back if you need anything just shout...

Went to the hospital to have my scan and I couldn't have it done so then have to write to my specialist and are trying to tell me I have to have an open field MRI scan done privately?? not quite sure how we are supposed to afford that so have to wait and see what happens, if they say we can only have it done privately then I will fight to get it on the NHS, if we lose then I will have to put up and shut up with the pain for the rest of my life!

Rusty this sounds appalling to me! Can't imangine how awful it was for you when you had gone to all the trouble to get ther when DD was poorly too! I have never even heard of an open MRI scan before!!! See I know nothing!

Fingers crossed u will see a dr soon and get it all sorted..... do u need me to come up and help???LOL!

npsmama - thanks for the info on your papers - I haven't got any papermania pads - I think I'll have to branch out!

Bunbun- fantastic stitched card - I love minnie mouse!

sylphraven - fab stitched cards - my favourite one is the dragon.

Candy - I just wanted to say thank you for my daddy belt - it was fabulous, I hope you are going to join us on this thread!!!!!

    Polly - you're welcome - it was a close call - I didn't think I'd get it finished!
Melissa I'd love to, I've only had my card blanks for 13 months now  and have still not yet made 1 single card, maybe one day I'll get around to it.

Many thanks for my card, it's looking fab on my table, it was a lovely suprise to find after a hard day at the nursery :D
