I can only do Friday in reality as I work saturday nights and we are very understaffed as it is.

Rainmac - Re: NEC visit, I do not know what day is best suited to me (or more like OH !) so I will leave it to the majority and call on the services of my mother if OH is not around to look after the kiddiwinks.

My 9 year old niece has been over today and we have made a post-it note holder and a cookie box for homemade cookies. I am absolutely shattered LOL !!

Its a labour of love so dont really notice the time but they do take a bit of patience.

Thank you for the info rainmac i won't be able to go but my friend is a manager for a train company and i wanted some info on train deals they often find out in advance whats coming up.

DD is finally sleeping, I am not betting on it being for long though, she screamed the house down when I had to put bonjella in her mouth and now hates me! Went to the hospital to have my scan and I couldn't have it done so then have to write to my specialist and are trying to tell me I have to have an open field MRI scan done privately?? not quite sure how we are supposed to afford that so have to wait and see what happens, if they say we can only have it done privately then I will fight to get it on the NHS, if we lose then I will have to put up and shut up with the pain for the rest of my life!

What??? That doesn't make any sense as you got referred for the scan didn't you. You NEED the scan for them to work out what is going on. Sorry I'm not helping am I . I am sooo sorry, hope you get the opportunity to curl up on the sofa with a cuppa and watch some carp on the TV to unwind and then head up to bed.

My OH is stuck in London working and he's still there because things haven't gone to plan today. Me and the boys have been to Gulliver's Land in Milton Keynes today and it was brilliant. Loads for them to do and the weather stayed dry :j I feel very gulity cos OH has had such a carp day.

So shall we go for Friday for the NEC? I need to talk nicely to my OH to get him to take the day off work

Don't know about the NEC - will have to see if
a) I can get the time off (can't really ask when I'm signed off )
b) OH can get the time off to do the school run
c) train tickets won't cost an arm and a leg - cheapest so far is £55 for Friday :eek:
d) how much I spend going to Harrogate in 3 weeks
