Well I have found tickets from Guildford to Birmingham then Birmingham to Guildford for a grand total of less than £20!!

Downside is I won't get there until after 11 and can't leave until after 7.30pm!

But it is £31 to travel back at 5.30 ish so do I travel later and save the money or go earlier and have the extra time????

    HELLLPPPP!!!!!

bunbun - I love your Minnie Mouse, so cute!

I've knocked up a quick card for the CCC challenge, it's on my blog.

I'm lucky regarding the NEC - it's about a 10/15 minute walk to the station from my house, and then a 15/20 minute train journey that costs about £4 return. I don't know what my work situation will be by then though; I should have started job-hunting already. :o If I have a job, then I might have to go on the Saturday.
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

Welcome back Emma - glad you've had a great summer;)

Ali - Great stitched card - and congrats on your first challenge!

Rusty - sorry to hear your dd is not well. HFM can be nasty but I seem to remember it going quite quickly! Take care of yourself too. NOt that I advocate drugging small children - but have you ever tried medised instead of calpol - it's just that it may help with sleep....(never did on ds2 though!). How did the scan go?

Dragonllew - utterly lovely cards- the greetings farm fairy is so cute.

JHB - your card is gorgeous too - why have I never thought of colouring ribbon and flowers -what a brilliant idea:T

Melissa - I love your cards - the pink and pale blue looks lovely - and I didn't know you could get rub on stitching!

Bunbun -wow - no wonder it took a while!

Sylphraven - those cards are amazing.

Myz - don't be so down on yourself - your cards are great. DOn't forget you've only been doing this a while!

re NEC- I'll be driving from Swindon so if anyone is between there and the NEC I'll pick you up!
