No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -
Melissa - I only know how to use photobucket! Is putting pics on blogs easy then? Can you tell me how? I've got a blog but never used it. It seemed soo complicated.
JHB saidGood luck for the MRI rusty - you'll probably fall asleep in there now!
All I can suggest for DD is lots of ice lollies/ice cream. It'll sooth her mouth, get some fluids into her, and make her feel like she's being spoilt! I guess it's lucky DS is away, hopefully DS will not be contagious by the time he comes home.
rainmac - what on earth were you doing posting at that unearthly hour of the morning!
JHB - What lovely sound advice:A0 -

Luckily OH has stayed at home today because of her being so poorly as I have my MRI scan today which I was going to cancel!! ...

Sometimes doctors can be such a**es... they have so little time for anyone that they misdiagnose all over the place I know I've had prior experience of it and I bet a load of others on here have as well
*hugs* for later too. Not sure what it's foe but if it's the lay still and don't have to talk and stuff one your lack of sleep could work in your favour and you can sort of drift off into dreamland and dream of *insert name of hunk you fancy here*
Here's some *hugs* for if the other *hugs* aren't enough...

Marg - I can add pics to my blog but am no use at explaining how. Hopefully someone more technical can explain. All I know is its much easier than photobucket0 -
Watch that though  xxxxxx
My friend got caught doing that.. you have to have the child with you at all times. If they find out you did that there is a big fine. It says on the railcard and every time you buy a ticket ...
Then again I have known people who travel without tickets all the time and they have never been caught... I just get the shivers thinking about what will happen so I'd never do that after my friend got shamed... lol I'm a scaredy cat
Ahhh but surely tickets bought in advance. Have to keep in account that people can fall ill and be unable to travelfurrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:
About me. Im Choccy or Chocolate orange depending on where i am.Yes occasionally i am a total looon who spends too long online, but no where near as much £ as her spendy elves do ..:D0 -
Marg - to add a picture to your blog is much easier and quicker than photobucket (IMHO)!
When you post a new comment, there are icons at the top of the comment box. Click on the one that looks like a picture and you'll be given another box with an option to 'browse' for the pic you're looking for. Simply find it on your pc (as you would when you upload to photobucket), then click 'upload'. That really is all there is to it. You can also choose whether you want the picture on the left, right, or centre of your blog. (This is for a blogspot blog - I've no experience of any others).
dragonllew - great fairy cards; I've managed to comment on the xmas one. You've used my favourite trick on the ff challenge card - colouring ribbon and flowers with promarkers! When I think of all the ribbons I own, I really should only buy white from now on!!
Speaking of which... I've made a card for the BasicGrey challenge using coloured in ribbon and flower. It's on my blog.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -

She tried that one
....it will depend on who is checking the tickets I guess and who has just been dumped or something...
I'll not chance it :rotfl: ... I'm the person who if they try something once will get caught and smacked hehe
I was just saying in case people didn't know.. you *have* to have a child with you... if yours is ill I guess you have to steal one :rotfl::j A-well-a bird, bird, bird...b-bird's the word :j0 -

Skiergirl - Thankyou for the link. I read through the one posted earlier by craftygranny aswell.
Thanks JHB, she isn't overly impressed with ice lollies and ice cream, so we have kicked daddy out to go to Asda and bulk buy yoghurts as that is all she is asking for and we know she will eat them. I have cancelled the appointment for the doctors tonight for her as in the last hour she has blisters all over her feetnothing on her hands still yet but I am guessing there is still time. It did say on one of the links that they mostly get one sympton (spots in mouth/tongue) or the other (spots/blisters on hands/feet) however my girly likes to go full hog and have them on her bum, in her mouth, on her tongue and now on her feet !! we don't do things by halves in this household
Your card is beautiful!! and so are all of the others that are on blogs. I am going to do a little blog hopping now to pass some time whilst she is resting.Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
