Wow! (Thud! on the floor with skiergirl!) Cripes, I'd better check a ticket out for me as I have main line-underground and mainline to get to NEC. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0

Oh MAN! I had a link for £13 annual friends and family railcard but it's 2 days out of date lol... story of my life.... don't think I want to pay £26 for one cos who knows with health up and down may not even have one journey... guess I can apply at the same time as getting a ticket if I ever travel but *agh* I'm so upset at myself for keep putting it off lol:j A-well-a bird, bird, bird...b-bird's the word :j0

For those of you booking train tickets. Try a few variations. Ie buying singles, or different tickets for each journey ( home - london then london - NEC ) It often works out cheaper
Myzdamena I usually get the Friends and family ticket half price but forgot this year. Last year it was cheaper for me to buy a ticket for myself and imaginary child. Than to just get one for myself !!furrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:
About me. Im Choccy or Chocolate orange depending on where i am.Yes occasionally i am a total looon who spends too long online, but no where near as much £ as her spendy elves do ..:D0 -
Rusty - Do hope DD (& YOU!) are feeling better today & you managed some sleep. Did they say just what hand foot & mouth is?
I'm sorry I edited your post. The doctor was completely rubbish, he didn't look at her properly. she has been up pretty much every 45 minutes through the night screaming, she won't let OH go near her she just wants me. She isn't settling properly though as she is in so much pain! We have her booked in to our doctors on an emergency appointment today (4:50pm) so I am hoping they will look at her properly and either confirm that it is hand foot and mouth, or tell us what it is. Apparently there is a lot of hand, foot and mouth going around? I also found out a friend of mines son was poorly with it 2 weeks ago, although she failed to mention this to me when we spent most of last week with her :mad::mad: no wonder my littly is poorly. I am fumingall we have been told Marg is that HF&M is a virus? and there is nothing they can do? have been given bonjella and calpol on prescription but there is nothing else they can do
Sorry I am rambling now. I am sooooo tired.
RE: - The NEC - I am heading down from the Newcastle area (geordie land) So if anyone wants a lift down I have 1 possibly 2 spaces left in the car? ... BunBun are you coming with me? or are you travelling down on your own? I have arranged with Choccy for her to save her train fair I shall pick her up en route
and OH says that he will book the day off work so I can go have fun :j :j

Oh dear I'm surprised you can string any letters together at all you sound so fraught. Wish I was nearer I could come & sit with her while you have a nap....not that she'd want me...I can only say if she rests at all you must do the same cuddle up together but don't forget to set the alarm for the docs appt. (((Hugs)))0

Watch that though  xxxxxx
My friend got caught doing that.. you have to have the child with you at all times. If they find out you did that there is a big fine. It says on the railcard and every time you buy a ticket ...
Then again I have known people who travel without tickets all the time and they have never been caught... I just get the shivers thinking about what will happen so I'd never do that after my friend got shamed... lol I'm a scaredy cat

Rusty hope your DD is feeling better soon don't know much about hand foot and mouth apart from that is is contagious(sp) my friends son had it last year he was very grumpy and fretful with it, could'nt eat and drink as it hurt, he caught it from nursery.
Will check out train prices for the NEC later which day are you planning on going?
Have made a couple of cards this morning one for the creative card crew christmas challenge and the other for the funky fairy's challenge both are on my blog http://dragonllew.blogspot.com0
