Wow lucky you there are lots of places to get crafty stuff from in the USA even the cheapy dollar stores have lovely card and scrapbooking stuff! If you go to Walmart they have card and scrapbook stuff including Martha Stewart!! The 2 big craft stores are Joanns and Michaels if u go online and register with a us address they will send u discount vouchers and they are really good ie 40% off a single item!!

Good luck with your trip and I hope u manage to get some fab stuff!!

Thanks for everyone's comments on my cards - I'm so glad I actually managed to get some challenge cards done. I bought the stitching rub ons ages ago from ebay - they're by K and Co, but I'm sure other companies do them too, I've never used them on my cards before but I've used them quite a bit on scrapbook pages.

Emma - your challenge card is lovely - your stitching looks amazing.

Rusty - sorry you've had such a horrible day!!

Salesadmin - your friend's card is gorgeous - I love the sentiment!! I love your cross stitch cards too.

Jailhousebabe - fabulous ccc challenge card - I love your snowball paper!

Wam - hi, thanks for your comments - I'll be keeping all my handmade cards - I might try and make a keepsake box for them - I'm lucky to have such fab cyber friends!

    Popkins - welcome back!

Rainmac - you can talk - you've got 2 kids, find the time to make enough crafts to stock your own craft fair, and do your part time card making work - you amaze me!!!

Candy - I insist that you get your card blanks out and have a go - judging from your tool belt you are very creative!

Gemm - I'll be recording all the qvc shows too!!!!

Mrs Tidge - I think the little bit of crafting that I'm doing is keeping me sane!!!!
  • Hi- advice wanted!!!
currently doing a wedding card [congrats on your....]. Ive made a pocket card using a piece of 11x11 embossed card stock with the middle pocket to hold a debenhams voucher.

So far ive added stamp sentiments in gold and added white organza ribbon. suggestions to embelish further please???????????????!

I think ill change the ribbon to gold ish organza and poss make a wallet [in gold ish] for the deb voucher. but what else could i do to "complete it"
