bunbun - the cats are fine thanks, still very mischevious! I bet yours must be getting big now!
popkins - I am so jealous of your pink cuttlebug that I think I might cry!maybe I could spray mine pink...hmm..
giggle - lucky you getting your MS scoring board, I think I'm gonna go for that one over the scor-pal now after reading that review someone posted a link to a couple days ago (might have been wifey?) is QVC the only place in the UK that sells them ATM?
louby - some lovely makes on your blog, especially those heart shaped biscuits! how cute
rusty looks like you and OH had a fab evening together
rainmac theres nothing better than spending a sunday morning in bed reading a good book is there!
I have just blogged, link is under my homepage thingy if you click on my name0 -
Gemm - did you get the email from madaboutcards if you order with them before 10pm tonight you get put in a draw to win a pink Cuttlebug. Never ordered from them before and think there is a min. spend. But just wanted to let you know.
At last I have finally got round to putting some makes on my blog (about blooming time!!). Link on my namey bit.0 -
A lot of you have been helping me with my stamping, so just wanted to update.
I bought a versafine black pad, and accidently bought a versamark watermark one which is clear!!
Anway, I tried stamping it by tapping, and standing up. There has been a huge improvement, but the middle part is still not stamping well. I've just ordered a stamp rocker, so I can apply even pressure to the middle as well!
I was just wondering if anyone can recommend a silver and gold ink pad for stamping please? I want quite a bold one, and it doesn't matter if it's shiny, metallic or whatever!"There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0 -
jazabelle Sometimes i found some stamps were prone to missing middle bits. I bought a stamping mat and i must say every stamp i have done since has been great. All stamping mats are really are funky foam, do you have something like that that you could try ?furrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:
About me. Im Choccy or Chocolate orange depending on where i am.Yes occasionally i am a total looon who spends too long online, but no where near as much £ as her spendy elves do ..:D0 -

Jaz, not sure if you know what to do with your Versamark stamp pad - if not here is a link to different things you can do. In the past I've stamped a dark coloured card with a butterfly stamp and Versamark, it gave a lovely background of butterflies a slightly different colour to the original card.
You might get on really well with the rocker, I've seen it demonstrated and it could well be easier for you as you wont need to put pressure in the middle of the stamp like you do with a normal block.
As for a silver or gold, have a look at Brilliance , dries without heat setting if you don't want to emboss. Or you could stamp with your Versamark and use gold or silver embossing powder.0 -
jaz - I have a silver Ink it up pad that I got really cheap in the Creative Craft World Bargain section. I must admit I have not done a lot of stamping with it but the bit I have has been fine. Only just realised after earlier postings on here that it is actually meant for embossing but you can still stamp with it - just make sure you allow plenty of drying time.
Those that have Sizzix big shots, can I ask do you ever die cut out and it doesnt cut clearly all through the paper - I am not sure if that happens or if I am doing it wrong?? Should it cut cleanly through the paper??? Wondering if using the wrong tab??? Oh god I have probably broken it!!!0 -

thanks for the tip ali, but I refuse to order from madabout cards as I think their postage is extreme! the likelihood of me winning the cuttlebug is slim to none anyhowlol
