Pointofnoreturn - Lovely cards where did you get the car from?
Thanks - I downloaded it from somewhere ages back. I tend to try and download evrything free!!! I keep it and then have a big library of stuff to use when needed. I just checked and I have it here with me on my external drive so if anyone wants it, just pm me an email address and I will send it to you. It's a pdf format.
I think I said previously that I am in the US at the moment for 2 months. Yesterday, I popped into Michaels, a large craft store here and had a look around. I picked up a couple of $1 rubber stamps and a box of 50 cards which already have the backing pattern on the front so you don't have to worry about stick on printed out sheets!! Lovely colour prints on the cards - do we get these in the UK does anyone know???
Rusty - I love your bottle hanger, looks very effective and gives a nice finishing touch. The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -

Being the All England Cake Diving champion I can honestly say those them there cakies are gorgeous, I just don't know which one to choose.
Please, someone hold back Whoopidoo, if she spot that beautiful ducky cake there's just no telling what might happen, feathers and icing, magic combo and what could she produce??????? Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -

I have a slipped disc, disc disease and also a compressed nerve root, it has given me hell for over a year now! In december I have a mini op for a needle in my spine which has helped for nearly 2 months but now the pain is coming back!
I'm in Essex, so probably won't be able to make it. I can't drive very far and Birmingham is probably pushing it!
For those that have gone before - is hiring a scooter possible? I mean I know you can get one, but is it too busy and woiuld it cause a problem do you think?
What date is it? My mum is suggesting hiring a car and driving, but would have to fit in with work and everything!
Where do you get tickets from please?
I'm so sorry the needle op didn't work. I had some very painful injections into my neck and spine, but they didn't help. It made it worse for about a week, and then went back to the same. I know it wasn't an operation, but I know how disappointing it is.
Pain is an awful thing to live with. I haven't had a pain free day in 11 years, and it is hard to just get on with it sometimes. Particularly when doctors, physios and specialists say those words "There is no magic wand we can wave to cure it. You just have to learn to live with it." I have to restrain myself from punching them in the face (ya know, if it my wrists weren't killing me)

Jaz, just picked up on this, I didn't realise that you couldn't stand for long. Just a tip when stamping - I've always found it better to stamp standing up so have a practice and see how you go. If you find you don't get good images if you stamp sitting down, leave it until you are able to stand up for a few minutes and you might do better.
As PLM says, you can emboss anything. Your fairy silhouette stamp would look lovely stamped with a black pigment ink pad then embossed with clear embossing powder. Have a look at this fairy silhouette card here. That's printed onto acetate but it gives you an idea of what they can look like.
Also, to get black embossing, it's better to use black ink pad/clear powder than using black embossing powder which, if you get specks in places you don't want, will show up and spoil your stamping.
Ooh, thank you! I LOVE that fairy image, it's lovely!
I was going to go to a craft shop today inbetween two appointments, but the first one ran on too long, and so I had to skip it. I will hopefully go on Saturday and will try and get embossing items, including clear for black stamps, if they sell them!

Lou -I love your happy birthday cut-outs, they really make your cards stand out.
Crafty JuJu - great cards on your blog, I love how you theme the anniversary cards. I really love your sock dinosaursome people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
Rusty, I bought a Craft Robo by Graphtec. I think the Silhouette and the Wishblade are quite similar. Graphtec have a recommended website and phone help. There's been a couple of Robo shows on Create and Craft TV very recently so I've recorded them for when I do the lighting up ceremony with the Robo ( Whenever I pluck up courage!!) Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0

Has anyone ever ordered from this website?
http://www.craftartuk.com/
A friend recommended it to me, but I've tried a couple of times, and I just get dead links whenever I try and click on any of the items. It works up until they have a list starting this weeks new products, or something.
I tried in IE and Firefox. Just wondering if it was my computer, or their website as it's been going on for about two weeks?
Right, I am going to have a nice relaxing bath now! If the water will remain hot."There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0 -
Jazabelle - I think you might like these! I am so happy, Whoopidoo gave me some beautiful fairy silhouette stamps in my Xmas swap, and the guy who makes them has just made bigger ones available - they were going through their entire stock alphabetically but because I asked for the silhouette ones he did them quicker! It has made my week and I've ordered a few(they start at 99p with £1 postage!). The website is here0
