Just picked up mine from the store this afternoon. I ordered it Wednesday and got the email to say it was ready on Saturday so very quick service really.

I agree with both sco0ter and PDC in their comments about the books. They are not the best quality and dont look as good partly as they are printed matt but it is a unique way of giving photos as a gift. Nice idea but dont think its worth £6... should be slightly cheaper for what it is.

I might try and do another before the FREESMBOOK code expires with some of my SLR photos to see if they print better than the ones did from my point and shoot.

Just picked mine up. Have to say I'm very pleased with it especially as it was free.

I wouldn't bother trying with a better quality as I got some pictures in both a book and normal prints.
The normal prints (also free) are excellent quality and way better than the booklet.

My kids love the booklets though
  • I just had my email confirmation at near enough 10pm how strange saying it is ready for collection so will find out later on today what it is like as for service it was very slow compared to everyone else

    Dont bother...

Most of My photos were taken with a NIKON D80 at an actual studio and the quality is the same as the ones I took on my own 4MP sony camera. I have also had some of the NIKON D80 photos blown up to 12"X18" and the quality was amazing so no problems with the input files (unless they use some sort of compression method when you send them"

Ah ok, so it must just be that the printers/paper used for the booklets are not as good as the ones they use to print the normal photos. Shame but as I said was still happy with the free book as its a novelty :p

Collected mine today and very happy for a freebie. Probably wouldn't pay £6 for the usual way of printing my photos, but for a present which could be pimped and personalised for the recipient, then I would.
