LOL, what is 4% or 5% of £0?

    Ordered one, thanks.

Because it doesn't need a delete button. Just drag another file from explorer and drop it into the sam frame to replace or selct the frame and hit your delete button on the keyboard twice(once for the photo and once for the empty frame).

The only thing which I found to be awkward is to set the zoom of a photo inside the frame. A tool for this, like a slider would be apprecitive. There is one but it's hidden away in a property box and it's not wyswig.

But otherwise the software is amazing.

If your computer crashed is 100% down to the state of your computer is in. You have clogged up resources or simply not enough of it.

BTW. Computers and operating systems need maintenance to run smoothly, just as your car needs to be treated well and has it's services.

Computers and software are complicated tools & machinery. When will it be made compulsary to have a "basic knowledge licence" to be able to own and operate one?

Thanks for that and the computer FAQ. I feel my ten years working with computers and interface design may have been wasted following your sterling advice. ;)

Seriously though, thanks for the delete key trick. I didn't know about that with their being no mention of it in any of the five or so menu systems within the package.

I see my computer wasn't the only one to crash, I would advise anyone using this software who is trying to create anything other than the most basic book just hits the save button every page. Worked for me. Computers - complicated. Who'd've thunk it.

Also see you get twenty free prints, so that a bonus :D
  • Thank You, a great post. After 4 Hours of fiddling around with the damn software and ordering the picture in terms of months...it will make a great present for my niece. Thanks once again

i can just about hear the distant cheers of thousands of lazy/incompetent software/operating system developers when i read comments like this, as they've clearly duped you good....

I was very happy to get that after the photobook maker kept crashing my laptop.

I did get one to work in the end using the automatic photobook selection. Not the book I wanted but its free so no complaints there, well, other than the two hours I wasted.

Free prints are something though. :T

anyone able to track their order using their reference code?

i realise that the reference code is made up of a customer and order numbers but i've tried to use codes without success

EDIT: I've just tried to log onto 'your account' on jessops website but not able and cant request a password as email not recognised. hope they've got my order as i've received the usual emails

Software download only took a minute or two. Software itself was a bit clunky and crashed twice when I was putting my book together.

Why isn't there a delete button for when you've draged in the wrong image. And why can't you re order the pages. I've used a similar 'make your own photobook' package from bobs books and thay was far superior.

Still, it was free and I got there in the end. Many thanks op.
There is a delete button, took me a few moments to find it aswell. If you click on the photo in the list & then at the top right there is a remove this picture function. Hope that helps for next time.
    Hugs

edit: thinking about it that might just be when ordering the prints which took 4.5 hours to upload after already uploading before that grrr. sorry.
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

Great freebie thanks MSE! Made a photobook for the boyfriend... found the software semi-easy to use... some of the most popular functions were hidden yet the assistant tool was good... would deffo use it again as the pricing was great.
