Congratulations on the job BB. Sounds richly deserved.
Hope they turn up soon for you Bookie and hope you find a new job soon as well - can't belive how vulturous (vulture like - but vulturous sounds cool - don't think it's a real word though) people were to you when you lost your shop :( .

    Congratulations BB :T

Maz, I'd go with the tummy tuck too if it were me. Once your boobs are up, you may notice your stomach more (my mum did when she lost weight and I finally persuaded her to get a decent bra) and it's the more expensive op, as Jacs said - easier to save £3k than 7.5k.

Well the hair is definitely different, will add photos tomorrow, my head it a bit dyed for today :rotfl: We had a right laugh doing it though.

yep - I was in the all conquering fuschia pink, extremely pointy shoes :D

DF - the £50 will more than likely be the exam fee. Still try for low income based 'extra' help with the fees - there's every chance they don't shout about it ;)

Congratulations on the job BB, tight gits were probably saving the phone call cost since they knew they'd be seeing you!

DF, I'm really sorry to hear all that. You'd think the jobcentre would be able to pay for a course to find you a job, but that's far too sensible and logical an idea! I really hope things pick up for you soon. You could have a look in the library for groups or voluntary things to get you out of the house? Or mystery shopping?

Bookie, I really hope your case turns up soon, I can't believe they've kept you waiting in for so long.

I got a letter this morning saying that my parking ticket appeal's been disallowed by Sheffield city council. I was going to cave and pay, but came to my senses. The government regulations say I'm right, and I've seen the Hansard record of when it was discussed in parliament. So with the encouragement of Pepipoo I'm going to carry on to official appeals. !!!!!!.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

It's a bookeeping certificate - 300 pounds tuition fees and 50 pounds other costs (i guess that's the OCR fee or something?).
I feel a lot better chatting to you lot. At least it's not just me.
    df

Can I ask the exact course that it is Df? I would look for colleges that offer AAT rather than OCR to be honest as it is very much sought after along with Sage computerised accounts (which is actually taught in a module with the AAT course)

If its bookkeeing you are interested in I would recommend the AAT.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
