yeah, we have loads with no concessionary fees also - like you say Squizz - the fun stuff  If it's accredited though, the government does pay a big chunk of it - is it a certificated course DF?

Actually I've just checked and some of our accounting courses are full cost only... that's not fun!!

It definitely says no funding help which is strange - it is an OCR course in bookeeping I think and is 15 weeks (don't know if that is relevant) - I wouldn't mind if it was a 'fun' course although I am hoping it will be fun it's to try and get some accounts experience really.

It's a bookeeping certificate - 300 pounds tuition fees and 50 pounds other costs (i guess that's the OCR fee or something?).
I feel a lot better chatting to you lot. At least it's not just me.

I hope you enjoy it if you get in.. I actually like learning about accounts, I just don't like working with them on a daily basis :rotfl:Is there anything you could do for free maybe on another evening that would be fun.. just for enjoyment?

Just phoned and left a message re getting some voluntary work - hopefully they will phone back - if not it's onwards and upwards and find someone who would appreciate it.
Just need to try and find a job really - ideally part time so I can do some voluntary work and do my bookkeeping course etc. Will apply to the schools in September to see if they want any help as I'd love to do that but really need a job first.

Chin up DF. You are doing really well. Have you tried Girlguiding for volunteer work?

Just had a text message saying case will be delivered by 18.30! Sent a rude one back. I have been housebound for 2 days now.

I think it will be fun. I'm MSE obsessed after all. I love figures and how much I'm saving and how much interest I get etc so hopefully that will translate to accounting and hopefully it'll earn me a decent amount of money too.

What are you wainting for? I hope it's worth the wait - delivery people are hopeless sometimes aren't they.
