    Good news today...

Rang Daxon and they were really nice and apologitic, apparently it was a computer glith that took the money twice, lucky mine was £30, but anyone with more hope they realise as well.

Got the last 2 books looked through, the exam 2mor at 2pm, so going to have a lie in, 1 1/2hr looking through my notes, what hasn't gone in by now, just got to do my best.

Really weird, been shattered most of the day, its never the next day the aches etc from driving its always the day after.

Had the PTA meeting today, the difference was unbelievalbe only about half the people turned up..... but we had some woman come in, and it looks like that as well as being the PTA, were going for charity status, which rolls on to like a contract, and basically means everything has to be done by the book, at the moment, theres a big them and us split, they don't like new people, but in a way I think it will bring the PTA more together and hopefully new parents will join.

I got a lovely one in, - bit sarky - but needs must - as I did the minutes, thou more bullet points, I said at the start if no-one else wants to take the minutes, I am more than willing to, I will type up a copy for the PTA chairperson, by next week, then if anyone wants copies, I would suggest speaking to the chair person, and collecting notes from there. Considering the fuss they kicked up last time, they were more than happy to sit tight and shut up. At the end of the day were all there for the kids and to me that should be the priority.

Got appointment Thurs for fracture clinic to see what they say about my knee....

Bar that nothing fresh to report. xx

Survived the exam, very handy room as I was next dr to the loo...... the OU really go out of their way to help, coz of health and the crutches, they arrange for me to have to have 1 to exam, local location and 30mins break on a 3hr exam, taken as and when needed it.

Bit shocked we'd been given a trial exam paper and last yrs exam but this was harder.

The 1st part you had to answer all 5 questions, they were based on each of the business subjects, then the 2nd part, again same subjects but more indepth and u picked 2. You can tell how difficult I found it, for one of my 2 choices I did a accountancy question, the subject I didn't study, bar the 1st 10 pages, but touch wood, I think I knew what I was doing, 40 is the pass mark, and as one of the ladies put on our OU forum, "look at it like this 40% pass, that means we can get 60% wrong"........ so now have to wait to September, but gave it my best.

Got fracture clinic thurs am for my knee and the dentist thurs afternoon..... hopefully I've had my 3 evils this week!!

Wasn't the sun lovely, could of done with sitting out, no peace for the wicked, back to the fracture clinic with my knee, gd news the knee is slowly healing, bad news.... its damaged some ligaments and muscles, stretched them, thats good, as bad would be they'd be tore....

Then the icing on the cake - did the doc discuss the ex-ray with you, NO..... WHY....... oh its just you have arithitis in both knees and your hips, me, I said thought only older people got that, to which he looked at my file and said while you are 40 next yr.......!!

So nipped to the pub for lunch, lovely steak, chips, dianne sauce, and rhubarb crumble... followed by a quick teeth clean and a dentist visit, I'd broke 3 teeth, (chipped 2, filling came out of 3rd).......

So hopefully had all my negatives in one day........

    Back to studies tomorrow.....
