DD tonight, she was so sweet, she'd took Bailey out in the garden so he could have a wee, she come running back in I've seen Aunty Karen and Whisky, I've seen Aunty Karen, (thinking bit difficult, she died in 1969), it turned out to be the brightest star in the sky.
We always say that family we lost and Whisky, our other pets are the stars, she was so exicted.

What a day you had. Really good news that your mum is going to get the help she needs. Appreciate how hard it must be for her to admit that she needs extra help.

Hope you get some rest today and don't worry too much over your exam - what will be will be.

    Hugs xx x

Good Luck with the exam - what course are you taking?

You sound like one strong lady - It sounds simple to say 'I think I've only broken....' - but it is very painful, frustrating and limiting to say the least.

We have a bone condition which causes the bone to fracture more easily in my family (I've come off the lightest with less than 10 fractures to date) my ds uses wheelchair because of it and my brother fluctuates between a chair and crutches - so know a little of 'just having a plaster...' having an arm in plaster as well as using crutches is no mean feat and that's without all the emotional stuff going on with your family and monies. You're doing good - just remember that when things get tough.

Glad things are being put in place for your mum.

My dh would be quite envious (I've just caught up on your diary) of your trip on The Orient Express. One day when I've paid everything off I'll treat him - maybe for his 60th in 4 years time - now there's an idea in the making - thanks!!!

The great plan is a BAHons Business, but long way to go, done level 1 courses, there all passed, this exam Business + Environments, the word Globalisation is frying my head. Just got to do my best, thats all I can do.

If you've come off lightly, thats still like 10 rounds with Mike Tyson.

Def worth the Orient for a celebretation, if you save Sainsburys points, 3,000 points, which would be £15 in store vouchers, can be as much as 1/3 off the fare per person. Last yr we saved £60 each, as long as one person does the booking, you could have 10 people in your party, and they would each get the saving, its still only 1 set of sainsburys points. xx

A lot quiter today, dad, me + dd went to Wellington, 10 miles away, just a break, got her a witches dress for Halloween, was £5, got her the large, so she should be able to get 2 yrs wear!!

Mums ok today, shes seems calmer, gd thing, and the nice neighbour popped in for a coffee!! (pre-arranged could u pop in on her), did knacker me out thou. So have to confess went back to bed, think yesterday took it out of me, still been quite wheezy, but doseing up on inhaleurs.

Very organised, done all the letters asking for donations + thanking those who sent, one company sent vouchers worth £80/£90, really plzed. their should be some gd prizes.

2morrow, planned about 7 hrs revision, monday, got docs morning, hospital for arm in afternoon, but aim 3 hrs refreshing, what isn't in the brain, tough. I really plan to do my best, if its not gd enuf, then I'll have to resist, April nxt yr.

Think knowing that mum will be getting some help, taken some pressure off.

On the Boots from - very weird.
Got an email from the customer services, - saying their had been a technical error with my card, when I put the online order through, a mistake happened and they cancelled the card and reordered me a new one!

Considering the order went through on Sunday/Monday, the card worked yesterday, and the email was dated today, whether there trying to cover their rear don't know.

Emailed the newsdesk, explained that Boots had offered me a £75 gift voucher as a gesture of good will, and I have accepted without prejudiece, but I told them as far as I'm concerned the compaint still stands, but added that until I get that gift voucher in my hand I don't trust them.

Not heard anything back, but at least I've kept the copy in sent box, so it shows I sent in early am.

    Fingers crossed. xx

Actually managed Sunday without any dramas, thou dd and me both got stinking colds.

Got good news yesterday, went back to the hospital, xrayed my hand again, good news they have decided the bone not broke, but still got to keep splint on for 3 weeks, then go again!.

Went to Boots (collected the £75 gift card in the morning), went back Mon after hospital, we cashed in the gift card, cashed in our points got £60 on card, and brought a wack of xmas prezzies, sharing them between mum,dd and me, dd got the lions share.

The dreaded OU exam, I got through it, don't think I did too bad, the exam was 3 part, the 1st you picked 3 out of 7 questions, the 2nd - 1 out of 4, 3rd 1 out of 3. Couldn't asked for a better subject, Globalisation, very sad but took the book with me yesterday to read while studying for the exam, so that was fresh in the mind.

Won't get the results till mid Xmas, if I fail the resit is April, but I'm not going to fail, I'm going to pass with flying colours.

DD - parents evening at school 2ngt, apparently shes perfect, shes well above average in reading, writing and maths, shes a pleasure to teach, what a wonderful child- so thats costing me a DS game.

    xx
