I honestly think I'm alll shopped out, should all be done now, just got to get a couple of extra bits for dd for her wii, and shes asked for a Hello Kitty MP3, and a Baileys Ice Cream Maker - she might have the MP3 player in her stocking - no more presents after 1st Nov! xx

What fun and games as the old saying goes it happens in 3s.....

It was PD Friday, so we got cheap travelodge deal, always book family room, usually 1 ngt unless its 10 quid, all bunk up together.

1st - The traffic, instead of 3 hr journey down the M5, 3 hrs from home to lodge, nearly 6 hrs, roadworks + accident got diverted, got Karen in the back "are we nearly there yet", the sat nav babbling turn off....... recalculating...... so we followed the diversion, ended up on M4, M48, M49, then to get back on M5, 1hr to do 1 mile.

2nd - Got to Travelodge, only to be told that the room had been doubled booked + they hadn't got another, they rang Taunton, Exeter, no go... the only rm he had left was disabled, twin rm, so he offered to get 1 z-beds, took it, rang home + said don't come 2ngt unless u want a z-bed, for 1, so he gave me 4 continental breakfasts as an apology, that was worth £18

3rd - the best - watched Simpsons went down to get a BK meal, for back in room, in crash out mode. 2 bites of food the fire alarm goes off, evacuate the room, grabbed me handbag (keys, phone, credit cards, told Karen to grab the laptop), course you can't use the lift, theres us, no shoes just socks, crutches, we were outside for 10 mins, then he said false alarm the engineer in, could be going off all night, but they wouldn't know if it would be a false alarm or not.

Luckly it was quiet!

Guess who had another fire escape 2day - whilst in Evans, whilst in the changing rm, luckly I wasn't in undressed just had my trainers to put on, so had to hop it out....... false alarm, but had to go back + get trainers, very mse brought a skirt reduced from £30 to £10 + pr boots with £5 off x
