I'd love one but they seem like a lot of hassle, for anyone that has one can you tell me where do you empty the water out when you have to empty it and how often do you have to change the water?

Knowing my luck I'd end up with legionnaires disease :D

He said wife, so definitely "her". My wife already has an indoor run - the kitchen

I'm off to Costco tomorrow to look at the pool.

You can buy a small pool testing and treatment kit which will last all season. I did this last year and the same fill lasted all summer. You won't smell of chlorine if you are careful with your measurements and test it regularly.

Thanks! So how about the emptying then, what happens with that?
Do you flood your garden or have to trail a hose to the drain..

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
We already have a 10ft frame pool that we bought from Makro last year, but it has an internal filter/pump and no heater. Of course I saw the bigger pool and wanted that one instead! Yeah I know 'boys and their toys'!
To connect up a heater I've had to buy from MachineMart a seperate pump (£59.99) and also the heater from Costco (£29.97 +vat)
What a pain this is turning into.
BTW. The easy set inflatible pools already have external pump/filter so its really easy just to connect up a heater.

It probably would be a good idea to invest in a cover for when it's not in use as my mother in-laws got so dirty especially when the dogs kept jumping in it  when it wasn't in use. POOL + KIDS + SPLASHING + WATER ON FLOOR + GRASS + DOGS = muddy grass dirty dogs = dirty water  at the end of the day its all fun :j

On the subject of emptying the pool there is an outlet connection on the pool to connect a hose to it which makes it easy and the 3kw heater only heats the pool to 1 or 2 degrees above the outside temperature and thats running the pump for approx 24 hours but as stated before its great fun for adults and kids and well worth the money even it`s only used for 1 summer as the kids are never out of it.

hrmmm im a bit confused now  , i wouldnt mind a pool. Can someone tell me if the costco one is of a similar style to the nurseryandtoys one, which is a bit cheaper? Though doesnt appear to come with a heater. Obvioulsy id prefer the one of highest quality, just a bit fuddled as to which one to get. Pity costco dont have a pic of their products on their site.

    Thanks,

    Sal :j
