Costco -Pool

I saw this at the Leeds Costco and it looks great. My in-laws have a proper pool and though it is much bigger I get the impression that a 3kw heater is not up to much. From what I understand from a friend who bought one the heaters are in line units so it is possible to fit as many as you want in line. This is backed up by the fact that Costco are selling the heaters on their own as well as the one which is included in the set.
Anyone looked at running a heater from a solar panel? Only worth doing if you intend to run it for a few years but its good to help keep those carbon emissions down eh?!0 -

. My mother in-law wouldn’t let the kids in it without the water being changed every day  I don't think her bill changed in ay way.
If thats one of those big pools to which you refer, then changing that everyday is a disgusting WASTE of water!0 -

It wasn't me who was filling the pool and I didn't say I agreed with it either, I was only passing comment on the bill!!! :undecided

I finally bought one!
But unfortunately when I opened it and set it out the wife freaked out!
Its absolutely huge, 15ft is just under the the height of the guttering on our house just to give you an idea.
I had to pack it up and take it back, apparently "there would be no room for her guinnea pig run" !

Good Point!
Thanks.
The other problem was that the existing patio is only 12ft x 12ft so it did make sense to take it back I suppose.
Don't you just hate it when their right!0 -
I thought that about by 10' one but when it filled it somehow fitted on the patio....dunno how they managed that!0
