The restaurant is a fish one, 2 words, 1st is a scottish name for a lake and 2nd is the opposite of 'coarse' and begins with F. Oh and to add insult to injury both me and hubby had upset tums after, lol, so avoid like the plague.

I have been reading through the thread (not quite managed it all yet) it seems very hit and miss, i was thinking of doing this but is it more trouble than its worth? :money:

Sed RE an invoice (knock one up on your computer) - stick a heading, in big red writing of "PAST DUE". Include in there that payment is now overdue (I'm assuming that it is iverdue now??) and that payment is required within 14 days or you will commence county court action against them. Send it Recorded Delivery as a minimum.

Include date of job, job ID number, amount due (broken down into fee/reimb if appropriate) and include your details (name, address, email address registered on their site).

i have also not been paid for the cheap designer red shops (12th sep) or the one thats sells everything beggining with 'A' (10th sep) yet. on another one i have done since they quoted 3 weeks so maybe next week? not done jobs before for them so looking forward to the little envelopes arriving! :T off to bingo tonite so im also hoping re dont upload til late!

RE phoned me today on my mobile while I was watching my son at football with an enquiry on a job. I said I wasnt home so she said she'd email me instead.

Well, I've just checked my email and the query is on a job I did on 12th August and was paid for on the 25th August! It was an email enquiry to a self-storage place and they want to know what company name I used when I sent the enquiry.

Unbelievable - shall I dock them 2 points for leaving it so long to raise the query?????

So funny TG they have just done the samw with me, an alcohol shop I did on 1st Aug and paid for on 10th!!! I think they just like to P us off.xx
