  • Has anyone had their cash envelopes in the post yet for August? Mine is taking over 4 weeks!
  • It's proabably not really from BARE. I would steer well clear. Money transfers is just not a MS thing to do IMHO.

Normally I would say the same - certainly if it comes from an email. However, these ones are on the BARE job board and I've done them before.
  • Hiya All

I have a pizza delivery job next week for GAP, does anyone know if you can use vouchers ie. BOGOF?

Also I havent heard anyone mention the Mystery Dining Company.. https://www.mysterydining.co.uk/Pages/index.aspx

I did a job for them a few weeks ago at a well known Japanese Noodle Bar.. but starting to panic now as its not mentioned here. Does anyone have any experience of them?

    Thanks

Goodness, I'm almost scared to venture on here as it's all been a bit heated hasn't it!

As you know, I'm new to this but I was wondering if you can tell me which are the good MS companies to go for. I'm strongly picking up the fact that RE aren't good but who do you think it is worth applying for? I'm with GAP and Grass Roots so far, as well as RE (won't be doing anything for them I don't think though).

    Any advice much appreciated.

My advice would be to try out all the companies or as many as you feel up to and find out what suits you. There have been a lot of negative comments about RE pub jobs recently, I decided years ago that I wasn't interested in them and to be honest I don't do pub jobs for anyone.

Remember you don't have to apply for jobs, it might be worth doing something you don't fancy to get established with a company, but if you hate it don't do it again.

Personally if I could do 5 stamp jobs, 5 bookies, an underground sandwich for lunch and an ESA pharmacy everyday I'd be happy but there isn't enough work for that unfortunately.

Totally agree with this. Don't let what other people say put you off any particular companies. I like RE as they have a wide variety of work and I find their website easy to use. Other people hate them and prefer other companies that I think have more complicated sites. It's really individual so like Alan says, try it once and make your own mind up!

  • I passed the gyp betting shop test and have done a few of these jobs. I was about to apply for 1 and had to answer the "question mark" questions again, ie do you know anyone who works for them etc. I answered them correctly or so i thought cos then the job disappeared! Im concerned now that maybe i didnt answer them correctly !! does anyone know if this means i'll never be able to see these jobs again?
ive checked other areas and cant see any ! if anyone can see some in their area could you let me know so i can juct see if i CAN see them ta !

I had huge problems with them a couple of weeks ago with stamp jobs. I passed the questions, passed the test and even got a printout of the confirmation. But I couldn't see any jobs, so I e-mailed them and they told me that I hadn't answered the initial criteria questions correctly. They made me wait 14 days before they would reset them again. I'd send them an e-mail.
