I spoke to them before I went and confirmed the date that I would be entering the results, when I got home and the lady was fine and wished me a good holiday, but evidently the proof reader decided to ignore this.

They have given the points back now. However they have also put me on Probationary at the same time and this has not been revoked!

They've done that to me before I'd give someone a call (I tend to follow the what was my last paperwork and use that name and phone number) to ask why you have been put on probation and if it can be altered back. If theres any other reason for it the person you speak to can usually tell you what you'd need to do to get it corrected.

Hi everyone,
On the previous thread I asked about the GFK email assignments.
I didn't receive any response from the three companies I contacted within 10 working days - I sent the emails on a Sunday evening and so 10 working days would have been the Monday two weeks later (ie 15 days). I went to enter my results yesterday (Tuesday, 16 days later) and was informed that there was a validation error - my results were being entered less than 10 working days after my email was sent. This was clearly wrong but I didn't wish to risk not getting paid so elected to submit this report and enter the results for the other two today, Wednesday, 17 days later. I went to enter the results this evening (the Word document with my 'contact us' emails is on my home computer) and submit all 3 only to discover that GFK have deallocated them all!!!!

Is it just me or is this just a tad unfair? I've given my reason as above and have also contacted them using the Support function, and have asked them to clarify when exactly the results needed to be inputted (possibly the evening of the 11th working day might have been OK?), not least because I have two more email assignments scheduled (which I've also completed) and I don't want to lose them too.

Has anyone else had this problem? These are the first assignments I've ever had deallocated from any mystery shopping company and I'm seriously peeved!

just wondering if anyone has received the 'equipment' for the Gyp coffee jobs? I've got one lined up for friday and have tried contacting them but no response.

Do I cancel it if the stuff doesn't arrive?

Mine arrived quite quickly. If it doesn't arrive, email them (I'll PM you their coffee email address) and ask them what to do. They might be able to change the date/time for you.

Thanks for that, however I sent the email on Sunday 19th July, counted the Monday after as day 0 as you're not meant to count weekends/bank holidays, and then by that reckoning attempted to enter the results on day 11 - yesterday, Tuesday 4th August.

Although, having said that, did England have a bank holiday on one of the Mondays? We in Scotland didn't but perhaps that was the problem - was Monday a bank holiday anywhere? If that was the case then today is day 11, and it's therefore still a bit off that they're not allowing me to enter the results in the evening - some people have restricted internet access at work so aren't able to enter results during the day anyway. It's quite confusing and I did wait the allotted time, but was told it was too soon, and then one day later it was too late!!

No Bank hols since May here, next one the last Monday of this month.

Meeting up with an old school-friend in London tomorrow, haven't seen her for about 2 years, and have just managed to get a Creature & Salad lunch job with RE that I don't have to take a child with me on!! Bring it on!!!!
