Gfk money in - mine has had to be transferred straight over to my credit card along with the Amber Arch payment from the other day as they both owed me sizeable amounts in reimbursements & fees - just wish I could spend it! :(

Glad you've got sorted now HP - was wondering where you were. ;);)
    ;)
  • OK, this is a very gentle reminder to please check that no-one else has posted on the Alerts thread before putting something up?

At 7:59pm last night I posted about new Hotel jobs, and then 2 other people posted about hotel jobs as well.

Similarly 2 people then posted about the same Stamp shop jobs.

I know when jobs come up people are keen to share, but for those of us who have email alerts set up to notify us whenever there is a new post on the thread it is a tad annoying to log on to see a duplicate alert.

    Thanks Guys!

To be fair to squeaky1055 and Miss Qwerty they did both post at exactly the same time so I only got one alert, however I do agree about the hotels. Even more annoying that I couldn't see them! :p

TG the stamp one was mine, but if you look at the times they were both posted at exactly the same time, the first one honestly wasn't there whenI was typing!

Sorry tho, didn't mean to cause anyone hassle.

Probably is the best way to go - how much notice do they give for visits? (I have childcare issues so dont get out much :D)

Normally about 4 weeks if not more.

    E.g Presently
Some Bar (Posh Hotel) London, UK
Lounge for two people in September. No 9/4-9/7 or after 9/25
    Pays reimbursement plus $xx fee

Visit times do tend to be late though (e.g. 23:00-01:00)

Let me know how you get on Andy. Say your mate is a similar age to you and you could easily ask the question about the prescription as pharmacies don't ask for ID so how would the pharmacy know you were fetching it for someone else.

The pharmacist bit in the Scottish ones is asking about stopping smoking.

The English assignment is completely different then - we have to ask for a review of our medicine usage with the pharmacist, which is why it has to be your own prescription (so you can discuss the conditions with confidence).

No idea why they are different but I would happily do the stop smoking one for them. As I am trying to stop smoking so it would actually be useful.
    Happy New Year

Hi everyone! I'm new to MSing and I've been reading the advice about tax forms etc and I'm slightly confused! I'm a student, without a job and so I am not used to filling in any tax forms yet as I have no income and make no NI contributions. So I am expecting to pay no tax on my MS income since I won't earn over the taxable limit each year, and I also don't want to make any NI contributions because in general they will be more than my MS income. So I am confused what I actually need to apply for. Self-employment? SEE? And also, when it says expected income on the forms, can I just guess? Because obviously how much work will vary over the year. Please would you PM me if you have any advice or help. Thank you!

If you earn less than £6,475 then you'll pay no tax. I don't think this is different for students.

As for National Insurance - I'm afraid that I can't help.
