All I did was take two burger jobs from him!

I've got a pizza job, several corner shops and some bookies. No petrol though!

It's only the second time I've been called* and the first time that I've agreed to help them.

*My phone is usually set to reject anonymous calls (but I turned the feature off a few days ago), so no idea how many times they've called me before and I've not seen them. If only they didn't call from an anonymous number!!

LOL, I just had similar situation.

Had phone call from Gap asking me to do 2 burger jobs this evening, said I couldn't do both of them, offered me a big fee increase.

Rang back by manager, asking me to do one drive thru burger, and he gave me 11 jobs, has put my name down to give me the petrol when it next available,.... then when he went to assign the burger job to me, it had disappeared from his screen!!

So... I have 11 lovely new jobs, and didn't have to take the burger either. :j

And here too, what is it with Gap today!

Got asked to do a burger job, said no so he asked me to do a petrol job instead on the condition I completed it before 6pm. Not going to say no to that now am I!

I think I'll ask for an extra fee AND more jobs next time, he was in a rush, I could hardly hear him, I was in my office, trying to be descrete (I don't think my employer would take too kindly to me organising my "job on the side" in their time!) so he just sorta said "we I'll got XX jobs, I'll just assign them all to you, you'll get an email, just go through them all and if there are any you don't want, just deallocate them".

So I said "won't that affect my shopper score" - his reply was "don't worry about that, you're doing that much work for us in the next month that it won't make a difference".

He's not wrong, I've got more than 20 jobs booked in for them already!!

Hey Monkey Boy, I hope you get really fat! :rotfl:(just jealous!)

I think I just found a new business idea. An online diet site for MSers; to include such things as underground sandwiches, burgers, pizza's, chicken, American and Italian restaurant meals, posh sandwiches, pub dinners and alcohol. I'm sure I could devise a way to include 10 of these meals in a week and still stay within the calorie limit for your age/height/build/gender.
