You could sign up and do a lounge visit if you live in\near London.
They are fairly easy and you would get an idea of what's involved for the more serious stuff

Probably is the best way to go - how much notice do they give for visits? (I have childcare issues so dont get out much :D)

And what is with some posh sandwiches at a £5........and some with £2.50!!!

I can't reveal too much here but I had a conversation with said company. The gave me a fair hearing and I suggested re the pharmacy jobs they were not going as lots of people don't have prescriptions. And you would have to pay the prescription cost usually so it wasn't worth it. I said it is just as valid to take say an elderly relative's prescription ( like my mum who has loads). That way you are still measuring the time taken to dispense it..

To their great credit they took this on board and have changed the assignment notes to say no doesn't need to be your own prescription.

So congrats to them for listening to me and getting back to me as well after discussion with the account manager.

They were also sympathetic about the low fee for the pubs and said they had got complaints and the one I referred to isn't near a shopping area so you wouldn't probably be able to combine it with other jobs so it wasn't worth it. I said I would do it if it wasn't taken but at a higher fee. Guess what someone jumped in and took it.

Whoever took it welcome to answer zillions of questions and a summary. But people like that do the rest of us no favours.

Bless ya, HP. Hope things ok with you. Get yourself signed up! You know what I'm talking about & it ain't weight watchers!

Doing it over the next day. I have 2 days off work. Got to go get mum's will signed on Wednesday. It arrived by post for me to check but one of my Cairn Terriers ripped it to shreds when the postie put it through the letterbox. Probably read it and thought...nothing left for me...sod that. Lawyer wasn't too amused though.

The ones I can see still need your own prescription - the notes haven't changed and still say it needs to be in your own name.

One of my local pubs has been taken, the other one is still there.

I just checked one and it says doesn't have to be your own prescription. Think though for some reason they are different for Scotland. Can you click on your questionnaire and see if they want you to ask a specific question about your prescription. Because if not how would anyone know who's prescription it was.

The ones I can see can be anyones prescription so well done HP!!!.xxx
:money: giving me & my darling boys a better cheaper life :o:A
  • The one I am looking at says:

You must have a prescription IN YOUR NAME (their capital letters).

On the first page of the assignment. The thing is you do have to discuss the medicine with the pharmacist so this is probably why it needs to be yours. No idea why Scotland are different.

Are you in Scotland too Drea. Why the difference between Scotland and England for the same pharmacy chain.

At least I have helped some of you.

Andy why not phone them like I did and ask innocently why the difference. Say your cousin or something in Scotland MS's and has done the pharmacy's but with a parents prescription or something.

Let me know how you get on Andy. Say your mate is a similar age to you and you could easily ask the question about the prescription as pharmacies don't ask for ID so how would the pharmacy know you were fetching it for someone else.

The pharmacist bit in the Scottish ones is asking about stopping smoking.
