They want us to apply for a credit card and then give them our confidential login details:eek:

I don't like this at all and think I shall be removing myself from their list. All seems a bit open to abuse if you ask me.

Anyhoo...first payment from GR though! Yey. :j

I don't like it at all either. Presumably as they are not based in the UK the same data protection laws won't apply:confused:

...and this is the company who recently gave all our details to another MS company in the US without informing us or gaining our consent. Their idea of confidentiality is not the same as mine:rolleyes:

The link doesn't work anyway even if I wanted to leave myself open to credit card fraud!

I've done banking MSs for other MS companies and they've never needed any proof of opening account, transactions or closing the account.

The link works for me - not that I have any intention of filling it in:eek:
  • There's no way I'd pass on confidential information. I wonder who would actually do it?! Someone desperate for money I suppose. Wouldn't it affect your credit rating too?

    Hi all, great thread :T

Quite new to this and just signed up for a job which involves me going to a bar after work and getting a drink...can't complain!

It says spending limit is £25.00, do I only get back what I spend or the whole £25?

Also, is it acceptable to take a photo of my receipt (can do close up shots) as I don't have a scanner?

    Thanks

It could affect credit rating if you were rejected or opening other cards at the same time.

Also if there was a fraud problem, you would be liable for it as banking rules quite clearly state that you should never give anyone your password/pin code/banking details.

Usually you will only be immbursed for what you can prove you spent at this establishment.

Taking photo or scanning the receipt - it depends on the mystery shopping company. All accept scanned images but not all accept photographs. You will need to read your instructions/online FAQs or contact them to find out.

Check the timing of this... £25 sounds like a late evening club visit to me, not a few drinks after work. But I may be wrong.

I'm thinking to do the same. I did my first job for Bare couple of months ago and the proof reader was a nuisance and marked 7 for my report. I've given up on Bare since then so might as well close my account.
